Hello, My name is Rose Ann and I feel obligated to share pictures and Memorials of past family members because my Grandmother, Laura Mae Barham/Clanton, left me pictures and newspaper articles. Families of interest to me are the Barham's and Clanton's. I also found the 'Magness' family of Arkansas an interesting study. As time goes on I'll expand to all Families close to me or my Kids, (Gailey/Cutlip/Sewell). I didn't know my Dad and his side of the family but will eventually dig into the 'Rossetti' line. I was depending on my sister Katie to do that. I sure love the fact that I found FAG and have a place to put pictures and info of the folks who are loved and not forgotten. I wish everyone kept a journal or diary for the family members that really are interested in their ancestors. At least people should ask their relatives of stories and the such instead of regretting not doing that later on like I do.|
I was born and raised in and around Riverside, California and live in Utah now for the past 30-plus years. My family history is based on my own personal interest. I have 3 son's and 7 Grandchildren, and two new Great Granddaughters, Violette and Kambry. I live in a retirement community and enjoy life with my best friend Jack (a pooch). I have a Brother (James Joseph Rossetti) in the SLC Utah area, a Brother (Daniel Michael Rossetti) in Apple Valley, California, and a Sister (Katie Rossetti/Zitar) in Mesa Arizona.
Peace and Love to All, Rose

Are you related to Jack? He is my 1st cousin 2x removed. Am seeking to make contact with the descendants of Isaac Richmond Sewell, his grandfather.

Hi - Jean Price was(is?) the sister of Dorrance Avery Clanton Jr. Mother's name is confusing as she was called "Rita", but her name has spelled so many different ways: Reata, Lareta, La Rita, Larita. Her maiden name was Culp. She had a sister named Gert or Gertrude Culp. Jean Price was/is married to Virgil "Bud" Price. Their children are Linda Price and David Price. Rita Culp Clanton was married to Dorrance Avery Clanton Sr., he died in 1956. Rita was originally from Oregon, DA Clanton Sr. Was originally from Washington. Hope this helps.

Hello Rose Ann -
My name is Shannon Wallace and I am the grandaughter (grandchild of 12 total) of Helen E. Barham Wallace. She just now read to me over the phone your letter to her. So, you did reach her! As a result of your letter, I have become a member here on this site. As you know, Helen lives in Grass Valley, CA. I reside in Phoenix, AZ. Helen and I are two peas in a pod, are EXTREMELY close, and talk everyday. She is now turning 95 this month and doing quite well!!
I have encouraged her to write you back, but in the interim, I thought I would "friend" you here. Please feel free to respond to me via my email address firstname.lastname@example.org
I looked through your pictures of all who would be my great-grandparents, and great great aunts and uncles. Thank you so much for posting all of these wonderful pictures.
Helen sends her love and gratitude. I do as well.

It would take a while to explain how Gove B. Clanton is related to the Clanton's of Tombstone, Arizona, so I will give you a very simple explanation.
All Clanton's in the United States are all related because they are all descended from John Clanton who came from England in 1635 aboard the ship "Abraham" and settled in the Virginia Colony.
I have never learned Gova's middle name. I wish I knew what it was.
Concerning the Clanton's of Tombstone, Arizona, you would be surprised if you knew the truth about the gunfight at the O.K. Corral. It was no gun fight, it was cold blooded murder.

You are certainly welcome. Believe me, I feel terrible when I see graves of people who have been forgotten,
