SO many new friends, family, cuzins I have met over the years here on FAG. I wish them all well and its so wonderful to meet new family along our path.
Hi! Welcome to my little part of the world at Life in the Past Lane. [Online 10 years but offline for now]
Honoring the past generations, helping families to find their ancestors and finding out how many of us all have a connection and many more cuzins than we ever dreamed. Finding our ancestors and walking through the lands of times past.

I only work on genealogy on days ending in "Y"

For the cuzins I have met previously "Hi" and for the new cuzins I hope to meet "HI" to you to.
We have many many paths to walk that our ancestors walked, and our time here is in honor to them.

I leave "Daisys" on all family members that are in my data and lines [direct and extended].
I leave other flowers for memorials I have help link up and/or helped someone else with.
Other flowers also can mean I havent located or logged them in my data . We all have ALOT of branches and trees to climb and exp

I just love it when you go to update your profile..hit save and your profile is 1/2 missing..pooofers...nada...rewrite from memory what you had up for years..Yeah , I'll get right on that..LOL

adding again 4/2017 :::UPDATE: 11-3-2016
All my memorials I make are for family. They are done our of care, love, and family. Names and linking are done for cherishing the family lines and to help others in years to come to locate their family.
If you send me an edit . Please send information I don't have or that can help validate or fix an error. I/WE all so appreciate that .
If you send me an edit that is to remove information, that I have worked hours in researching , I will ignore edit reply it!!! I will decline and dont try sneaking it in again with another huge batch ..[unless you are family that wishes it done] I just got TONS of name fixing requests in my edit. I have better use of my time , than to reply to each edit with a reason WHY .. Anyways. If you don't sign the flowers and are family with a reason to remove something. DONT edit /email me. I have been doing this to many years to find nit-picking to be useful and our ancestors have much history to share and memorials carry many names, stories and history. and WE are just the paths through time , now attempting to share it.
**Rant over**
almost...AND if you don't have a main page talking ability NOR an email . You think your going to be able to discuss things??
FAG has said they will be updating marriage boxes [until then , all names will go married box ..I will fix the ones I have posted in maiden name box] and they are MAKING all people who dont have ability to post on their main pages to talk NOR an email [or contact them], fix that to. I will be very happy to converse with anyone, but don't teach/talk AT me , as I don't do it others. Play nice in the sandbox folks.

Our paths all cross and our pasts are all the same. Unknowns and paths among the trees and branches to find our way.
Welcome to my Life in the Past Lane !!

William Milner Early
Found a bit of a hiccup on William's birth and death data. He was born 21 Oct 1911 in Wolftown, Madison, VA and died 28 Jan 1964 in Harrisonburg, Rockingham, VA.

Sent photo request for Matilda Lewis Fields Pennington Find A Grave # 139074080. Got response that there is no record of her being buried in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
Can you figure this problem out?

Photo of possible son of Roby Lincoln Edwards
In the process of fulfilling a request for a grave photo of a Jane Edwards I noted that the stone also listed Roby Lincoln Edwards Jr and decided to see it there was a memorial for him. I did not find one but did find your memeorial for a Roby Lincoln Edwards (no senior). I figured he might be the son of your Roby Lincoln Edwards. If you want to see the photo you can use Find A Grave search for Jane and you will see his inscription.

Photo of Armistead Hall
Can you tell me the source for the photo of Armistead Hall? This is a family photo that I posted online at one point, and wonder how it may have been accessed and posted here at findagrave.
Thanks, much.

William Thomas Taylor!
Recently discovered (with your help) that William Taylor is my Greatx3 Grandfather. He was the father to Flora, who became the mother of my Grampa (Paul), who was a WWII vet from Ohio. I have became rather eager to know more about William, I was wondering if you had more information about him, or help me understand his role in the Civil War. I appreciate what youve done, I am grateful!

Charles Clark Lincoln
Hi - I have sent an edit/tab requesting that the birth and death dates be reversed. He was born in 1866, not died in 1966 as the DC says. I am also linking his parents, so their birth/death dates will indicate the 1866 birth timeframe. Thanks very much for your work! Merideth

Jim Quesenberry Cemetery
Could you possibly tell me how to find this cemetery in Floyd County? I have relatives buried in here and would like to be able to find this cemetery.
