Find A Grave Memorial# 20096457

I noticed you added a photo in 2015 to Gerald's memorial.
Do you remember where it was located?
He was buried and there is a headstone there.

Your photo looks like it may be on a wall, a mausoleum or crypt. It also could be a memorial just for veterans. Then it would be In Memoriam (no body there).
Any help or explanation would be appreciated.

With an explanation I would like to possibly use the photo, with your permission, in my private tree.

RE: michael
I spent 3 years researching my father's experiences in WW II as he never really talked about it. I found a lot on the internet using google websearch and books on Amazon. If you know your brother's unit you can google it and get information that way. You can also get a copy of his military records - that's what I had to do with my father as I had no idea what unit he had been in or where in the Pacific he had fought. You can also find out if his unit has an active association where you may be able to connect with people who knew him or were involved in the war at the same time and places as him. I hope some of this is helpful. It required a lot of patience and research on my part; you have the advantage that probably many of the men your brother served with who survived are still alive. Let me know if there's any help I can provide.

Thank you so much for taking a picture of his headstone. His family in Oklahoma appreciate it very very much.
