|Jane ||Mehetable Thompson Phillips|
I will be traveling to Belleville in a couple of weeks and would be happy to take photos of the headstones and Thompson cemetary in Smithton. I am a descendent of her son, Amos. Because I am taking my 85 year old Aunt to the area to see the graves of her ancestors and will be involved in her actual care, please send me a reminder to forward the photos to you.
I also have other photos of the Phillips family graves if you are interested.
Enjoy your summer.

You're very welcome. It is possible the gravestone sunk or fell over. There's also lots of overgrown shrubberies right now that might be hiding smaller stones that could be visible once the seasons change. I will keep the names on my list and check again in the Fall.

|C.C.Diamond||ID Military in Westlawn-Hillcrest|
We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge #326.
If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.
Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.
If you have already received this message, please accept our apologies for the duplicate message.

Picture came from Ancestry.com listing, can't verify. Removed per your request 👍
|Saralyn McAfee Smith||Henry Howland - Photo|
I did not leave the photo on Henry's memorial, and I do not know the person who did, despite the fact that we are both Smiths. You could write to the person who actually left the photo.
|Kevin Avery||Jeremiah Howes and family|
Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I have asked that the duplicate memorials for Jeremiah and his family be deleted.
Kelly, do you by any chance have Jemima's birth info and maiden name?
|Kay Baldwin||Hiatt family ties|
I am a Hiatt descendant from Hiatts that moved from Grant Co, IND to Iowa way back when. I am getting so-o-o-o-o very confused, because I had a Hiatt who married a 2nd or 3rd cousin Hiatt that the private tree I have on ancestry, is a mess as to where the Hiatts are concerned. Also it seem like there are a lot of similar names. My 2x great Grandmother Mary L. (Lou or Louisa not sure) Hiatt first married a Herman Gregg (a civil war veteran, burial unknown but most likely in SW Iowa, Fremont County)and their daughter Sinnia Ann Gregg (Sina, Sinia alt. spellings)was my great grandmother.
Here is what I think is true:
George Hiatt (wife a Martha Wakefield)7th gr
John Hiatt (wife a Sarah Hodgson)6th gr
Johnathan Hiatt (wife Rachel Williams)5th gr
Josiah Hiatt (wife Esther/Easter Hiatt**)4th gr
Eli Hiatt (first wife Lorinda Patterson)3rd gr
Mary Louisa Hiatt Gregg then Ketchum 2nd gr
Sinnia Ann Gregg Lowe 1st gr
Jessie Elma Lowe Fox grandmother
John Garner Fox father
**Esther/Easter Hiatt(husband Josiah Hiatt)4th gr
working way back
William Hiatt (wife Elizabeth Sulgrave) 5th gr
Isaac Hiatt (wife Martha Thomas) 6th gr.
William Hiatt (wife, Alice Lowden)7th gr.
I do have problems running into Hiatt family with same first names but slightly different dates.
|Kay Baldwin||RE: Hiatt family|
I noticed your name connected with a Hiatt memorial page, are you a Hiatt descendant? If so, do you have a page on ancestry.com that you would be willing to share? I am getting quite confused following my 2x great grandmother's Hiatt family.
thanks for your time!

Do you by chance know who his parents are? There is a Marvin & Hazel near him. If these are a relation let me know as I have the pictures of the headstones.
