While I have been working on my family history for quite some time, I am fairly new to this site. This started as a project to find out where I came from. Somewhere along the line, it became a tribute to all that have passed before me.I have been searching for the father of Joseph Melvin Shackelford (could also be spelled Shackleford) I have the name Joab as his father, and Nancy(Shields) as his mother but cannot find any info. Joab's father was Lewis Shackelford, his wife's name was possibly Elizabeth. I am at a brick wall right now.
