|I am in my 50's in Spokane and live by 3 Cemeteries where I take my walks on their lovely grounds. I have been working on my own family tree for 5 years now on Mattocks & Belgardes and know how difficult it is to travel to get photos or information.|

I noticed that you have a photo request for Ranquist in the Grindle Hill cemetery on Swan's Island. I thought you may not be aware of this website that contains cemetery records and genealogies based on Dr. Hermon Small's 'History of Swan's Island'. You could ask them if you could use their gravestone photo for personal use or just reference it at their site.

Hi! I found the headstone Laura Lizotte. The cemetery records list the plot for Laura Clara Lizotte, but the stone itself only says "Clara Lizotte". Likewise, the dates are off. The cemetery record says 1966 as a year of death, though the date on the stone is 1908, age 58. So maybe her date of birth was 1908, which would put date of death at 1966 at the age of 58. OR, there is a record problem, and she passed in 1908 at age 58. Perhaps, if she is a relative of yours, you may have records to help clear this up. Joseph Xavier Lizotte is at a different location in the cemetery, reserved for military. I've attached his photo to his profile (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=65018689).
