I was born in Syracuse, NY, but have lived most of my life in Florida. My background is in history, anthropology, and archaeology and I began doing genealogical research in 1981, but have been especially active the last ten years. I divide my research evenly between my father's family, which originated in France (paternal) and England (maternal), and my mother's family, both sides of which were descended from Virginia's Germanna colonists.

RE: Reuben Newton Wayman
Sorry for the delay with my reply but I just now found your message. I would download the pic and upload it to your page. My great, grandfather was John Mack Cook, my grandfather was Mack Arthur Cook, my father was Keith Lee Cook & my name is John Mack Cook. I think that Virginia Cook was Theodore Ruben Mack Cook's sister? I believe that Virginia & Ted were my father's 1st. cousins?

I'll be replying your email address as I've been
working on My Troutman lines even when they
reach "dead ends" and "lost cemeteries.

RE: James H Crawford
Can you give more information about James H. Crawford, ie. vitals, cemetery? He is not on my list of memorials that I have created. I would be glad to recheck the research but I am unable to do so until James H. Crawford can be identified.

RE: Studer/Studor Burials at White Lake
Hi Karyn:

I added Philip and Henry as children of Jacob and Elizabeth Studer. I changed Jacob's date of birth to 1817. If you found church records, they are probably more accurate than the gravestone. I cannot tell you where I got his full date of birth, nor can I tell you where I got the maiden name of his mother. It looks like I created all these memorials, but do not know where I got the bio's unless someone in the family sent them to me. I have put over 2000 pictures up on find a grave. I'm sorry my memory has failed me at this time.

RE: Photo of grave of Herbert F and Hazel B Hahn grave

You are most welcome. That's quite a while ago. Thanks for telling
me about your visits to your grandmother's grave and those of your
grandfather's family. I was there to fulfill requests and decided to
take photos of other stones and upload them. I will be doing that
each time I have requests in Lyons Rural

Best regards, Paul

RE: Sgt Frederick R Wilkes
As far as my research to date, there is no connection. I often place tokens of remembrance on memorials with the same surname as my proven ancestors, since somewhere, we are most likely related.

The only Frances Wilkes I have in my tree married Littleberry Haugh in 1801, Brunswick Co VA.

Please see my Gr-Grandma Mary Adeline Wilkes (Warfield, Pearsey) memorial, # 48249984.

adding links
You can link memorials together in the bio section. Look at the Frequently Asked Questions section and go to How do I add a link from one memorial to another? It decribes how to do so.
