My great-grandparents:
Hudsul Payne & Vina (Ethridge) Hutchins Smith Wymore Tuegel,
Ralph Edward Carpenter & Elizabeth Stella (Campbell) Brollier Carpenter Vasconcellos Cox,
Amel Nickell & Erma (Ice) Nickell, and
Reuben Hoiland & Mildred (Frye) Hoiland.

For the past decade, I've been active in researching my family tree. I have added a few friends' and close family members' memorials to this site, plus a few military members and children whom I feel should be specially remembered.

If you are a relative of someone I've listed and would like me to make changes to a memorial or transfer a memorial to you, don't hesitate to ask. :) My goal here is to honor people who are missed by those who love them as well as people who have been forgotten. Everyone who has lived on this planet has been loved by someone. They deserve honor and respect.

William Vandiver in Montgomery, AL FAG
You stated who William's parents were. I am trying to determine if he is the William Vandiver who was married to Permelia in Jackson County. Do you know?

Thanks for your help. Annette Bradford

John DeLong
I walked the entire St. Marys Catholic Cemetery at Batesville, Ohio and could not find the John DeLong you were wanting. I took several photographs of the DeLong headstones that were there. This does not mean that the one you are looking for is not in there, as many of the headstones have fallen over, are broken or deteriorated to the point they are not readable. If you would like the photos I have, email me at Also if you have any information on Lydia DeLong Born: 1838 and married Michael Pierce on 10-22-1857 or their children, I would greatly appreciate it.

It seems we are probably related. Edward S. Carpenter and Ellen House Carpenter were my GG Grandparents. Would love to have more info. on your genealogical line. Edward and Ellen's daughter Edna Ellen Carpenter Blake, married my great grandfather, Alexander Campbell Blake. They had my grandfather, Oral William Blake, who married my grandmother, Stella Almeda Robison Blake. They had my dad, Gary Dean Blake. Don't know if you have been on the grave memorials for Edward and Ellen and their children, but I posted several photos you might be interested in, if you didn't already have them.

Phebe M. Gage, Vesta Cemetery
Please contact me regarding Phebe M. Gage who is buried in Vesta Cemetery, Johnson County, Nebraska.

I believe Phebe Marie Gage is my Caroline's sister. Caroline is buried in Elk Grove in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Johnson County. If I am correct, I have Phebe's family going back several generations in Vermont and New Hampshire.

My Caroline has been my brick wall until I just recently.

Hope to hear from you soon,

Linda R.F. Arnold

Rudy Cmetery
Thank you very much for your kind words about pic for Rudy Cemetery. Rudy is one of those "Lost & Forgotten" Cemeteries. The only time you can see it is when Winter is ending and undergrowth has not yet started to grow. Situated in the middle of hundreds and hundreds of acres of now State owned land and no-one at this University could have maintained and paid respect to this small family cemetery in which some birthdates go back to the 1700's. It saddens me to know that in the very near future this burial place of approximately 38 historic ancestors of people of this valley (16 marked and 22 unmarked fieldstones) will be non-existent. Thanks again, Diane

Mary Ellen Currington Morey
You might want to delete or edit your flower at Mary Ellen Currington Morey's (59078332)memorial. It is no longer applicable.

RE: Marjorie (Frye) Phillips
Not related. I add School Yearbook photos to memorials hoping friends, family and future generations will enjoy seeing a picture they might not have.
