Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been working on my family tree for over 2 decades. I enjoy looking for my relatives and ancestors and have many headstone photos. The last names I have been researching are Hoffman, Schleis, Wolter, Waite, Halverson, and Severson.

I am also researching Buchanan, Bowen, Bucey, Williamson, Allen, Carter, and other families related to the Buchanan Log House in Nashville, Tennessee.

If I have created a memorial for a loved one, please feel free to ask for a transfer. I feel that family should be able to manage and care for the memorials. Families will have more information then I do and will be able to add it.

George Castleman Cemetery
I am Dwight Price and I hope you can help me find the George Castleman cemetery. This cemetery is one that did not get relocated circa 1965-67 due to J. Percy Priest reservoir construction. I noticed you had posted some pictures from that cemetery around 2012 so I hope you may recall it's location. Once I find it, I plan to update the cemetery data via the Find A Grave forum process. Thanks in advance for any help you might provide.

Best regards,

Charlie Williams, #105459567
Natalie, according to the 1880 Federal Census, Charlie was the son of R. M. Williams. The census neither states nor suggests Cornelia was Charlie's mother, only that she was the wife of his father. Charlie's mother was Emily Phelps, who married Robert in 1868 and who died in 1872, while Charlie was an infant. Robert married Emily's sister Martha in 1874; she died in 1877. He did not marry Cornelia Carson (not Cosson; I have no idea where that bizarre misspelling came from, as marriage record is clearly Carson) until 1880. Please remove the false statement that the 1880 census says Cornelia is Charlie's mother.
Thank you,

Apologies, Natalie, I cannot seem to find her memorial, so I cannot respond with accuracy.

John & Allie Steele
I have provided information for both John Carroll Steele (1859-1909) and Allie Sharp Steele (1871-1947) under the "Plot or GPS" tab. They are buried at Mount Juliet Memorial gardens, Mount Juliet TN. The data is section and row information plus GPS coordinates. I use a combination of things to obtain GPS data. I use a Garmin e-Trex unit when tree cover is around, coordinates encoded in the picture, then review using Google Maps and find the marker if possible. I will post the data from Google Maps since Maps is tied to geodatic markers but sometimes i post the e-Trex or encoded data which will typically be accurate to about 12 feet - more than sufficient to help family or friends to find the grave location. I would appreciate your attention to that edit request.
I noticed you mentioned the Buchanan Log Home which is very close and I have talked with those in charge before so if you need anything from there or in Nashville area, please let me know. Also, you have a very impressive contributor record so thank you for all that you do!
Best regards and happy Memorial day.

RE: Wheeler family
You are welcome. I am glad I could help. I had a little trouble finding Artemis and Abigaile's stone at first. It was covered with moss. I have added the close up for Abigaile which I forgot to post before. Let me know if you need anything else. Hope you are having a great weekend.
