Currently working on several trees. Born in Tampa, Florida, raised in Bayside, Queens County, New York City, New York, currently living in Northern New Jersey. Retired in 2008.On my mother's side there are Irish and German immigrants (mid 1800s) who lived and raised families in the New York City area. My grandmother on my father's side is the link that makes me a direct descendant of Edward Doty who came over on the Mayflower in 1620. There are generations of colonizers and pioneers on this side. My family on my father's side were pioneers who went from New England to Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, Iowa and finally into the western states. I am trying to organize everything for future generations and to honor my ancestors who have been forgotten and struggled greatly to just to survive.
I WILL GLADLY TRANSFER MEMORIALS TO RELATIVES OF ANYONE WHO I HAVE ADDED, PROVIDING THE INDIVIDUAL IS NOT PART OF MY OWN CLOSE FAMILY. PLEASE USE THE EDIT TAB ON THE MEMORIAL PAGE TO REQUEST TRANSFERS. YOU MAY ALSO USE ANY PHOTOS THAT I HAVE TAKEN FOR YOUR FAMILY TREES, ETC. PLEASE USE THE NEW "EDIT" TAB ON YOUR PROFILE PAGE TO REQUEST CHANGES, CORRECTIONS AND ADDITIONS ON MEMORIALS THAT I HAVE POSTED.
I HAVE ESTABLISHED A FACEBOOK GROUP HONORING IMMIGRANTS WHO CAME TO NEW ENGLAND DURING THE GREAT MIGRATION 1620-1640. I HAVE MANY PATERNAL ANCESTORS WHO FALL INTO THIS CATEGORY. COME JOIN US. https://www.facebook.com/groups/145050959187406/

Interestingly as I look at your profile, I notice that you have records at several cemeteries on Long Island and Queens where I have relatives. Recently I found out that apparently I have relatives in Greenfield Cemetery in Nassau. I have been tying together some branches of the family tree and they appear to lead there. My father's mother's family is in Clavary in Queens and his father's family is in Greenfield and St. John's. I have some graves I need to upload from St. Michael's in Queens of my mother's side along with Mount Saint Mary's.

Yes this is the same person. Sorry I did not get back to you sooner. I have been away with minimal internet access.
Thanks again for your info.

You're very welcome; happy to help. I believe you have other requests at Calverton, but as the cemetery covers 900 acres I'm tackling it a few sections at a time. Best, Helen

I am trying to prove a family relationship...his family is all dead...how the hell is anyone supposed to do this...what commies!!
Thank you for trying!
I believe you have the wrong Mary Davis #14187425 linked to a William Davis. This Mary Davis was married to Zimri Davis 1827-1908 and is buried next to him in Sec Q-15 N. Her interment records states wife of Zimri. Their son Arthur is also buried in this plot. Her maiden name was Peterson and she is listed with Zimri in the 1900 Census in Clinton Co., Ohio and then again in 1910 as a widow. I have contacted the person who created both Zimri and Mary's memorial to link them together, but no response yet. please unlink her from William and not sure how you would delete note
Rest In Peace. Wife of my 1st cousin 3 times removed, William P Davis. Death date is unknown. No death year on headstone.

Hi Ken, I know Mike has been busy, but you could reach out to him again. Specifically who are you wanting info for, if I can help. I see Mike periodically and will say something to him. Busy here and we are soon going to do more work at Sand Hill cemetery as well as some other Pioneer Cemeteries. I know you are still searching for a couple people there and will keep that in mind in case we uncover something. Good to hear from you.
