Retired Public Servant, MPA|
I have been doing genealogy research for 30+ years and still enjoy it very much.
I am thankful for the many 'new' cousins I've found via the Find A Grave site, and also thankful for the many new friends I've made via this site.

Thanks for sending Rodney's obituary. You were correct, Prince Frederick is in Calvert County, Md. The word "County" after the name Prince Frederick, must have been an error in the obit. Thanks again for sending.

Thank you for the kind words and I hope that the little work I do on Findagrave.com will help someone find a link to their family. It has been a great joy to be able to find my ancestry, and I look forward, in hope, that others will to. Again, thanks and regards.
Hi, I am Chase Patton and saw you said that Josiah Mace was your 4th great grandfather which is funny because he is also my 4th great grandfather, amazing what you can find from ancestry.com huh? Anyway, I am a descendant of James E. Mace and was wanting to contact you perhaps in the hopes of us helping each other with family research

For a few years now, I had thought that your Harvey could not possibly be my Harvey. And until recently I thought he was lost to time. An estranged family reached out and mentioned they had gone searching too and couldn't find our Harvey. It re-ignited my desire to search for him and until I discovered that your Harvey had a been recorded in Philadelphia in 1947, I was 100% unconvinced. I have Alma and Harvey's divorce papers. I have not found a marriage record yet nor have I found him in the 1940 census. My great grandmother was a few years younger and in 1940 she was a junior in high school living with her parents. I could send you a copy of their divorce papers if you'd like. I'll keep you updated if I find anything else to prove my theory!

You are welcome. Thank you for the note on the discrepancies between the birth and death dates.

I have reason to believe this is my great grandfather. May I ask if this is a relative of yours? Id love any information you may have about him

|Sandra Sweet||John "Wesley" Stamey Birthdate|
Good Morning, Ruth,
44322324 - I found on the 1860 Census that John "Wesley" Stamey is 2 yo. which would indicate that he was born most probably in 1858. The 1870 Census states that he was 11 yo which would indicated 1858-1859.
