As I have entered the second half of my life, I have embraced the lovely quiet while taking photographs of headstones and graveyards on my travels. My favourite cemeteries are the Old Burying Ground in Halifax, Nova Scotia, the Cementerio de Granada in Nicaragua, and the gorgeous old stones in Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.|
Please feel free to download the photographs that I have posted for your personal use on family tree research and websites.
Under the Canadian Protection of Personal Information and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), a cemetery headstone and any information on it are considered to be in the public domain. Therefore, information obtained from these sources are considered as "open" information which may be released. This is true regardless of whether or not the people mentioned are living or dead or how long they have been dead

Would you mind changing her husband's name to his correct name of Morley Jackson Tanner Hillman from Morley Jackson Fanner Hillman. He was the son of Samuel Tanner Hillman and Sophia Jane Jackson. Here are also details of his military service in World War 1:
Drafted into the Military on October 9, 1917 (Regiment #D3317647 - 2nd CO. Regiment). His address was listed as 23 Charles Street, Oshawa, he was single, occupation - clerk, next-of-kin - Sophia Hillman, mother, of 23 Charles Street, Oshawa. He was 20 years & 7 months of age when enlisted, 5ft. 5-3/4 inches tall, fair complexion, blue eyes, brown hair and his chest when fully expanded was 34 inches (range of expansion - 3"). Previous military service #797057
Thank you so much.

|liz gilpin||Charles William Mullett|
My name is Liz and I have been putting together my family tree for approximately the last year and a half.
I noticed on this site that you have pictures of Charles Mullett and his wife's headstone in Mount Pleasant Cemetery (Toronto).
Charles' wife is my 2nd great aunt! I was wondering if you could transfer the file to me?

Not sure if you got my email... I'm wondering where you got the "Jack" for Jacob Stevens. He was my 3rd great grandfather, and I have never come across that. If you don't mind transferring the memorial as well as his wife's (167890866)to me, I'd like that! Thank you!

Thanks so much for letting me manage this sites(s). Not sure if messages I sent were doubled, but seems to me they were. Apologies. Not used to doing that part here!
