Bio Photo Lives in Evanston, Illinois.
Please feel free to use any of my photos for your own research. If I find additional information (plot location or burial date) I type it in the photo caption, so be sure to check the caption. Most of the memorials I have added are extra photos taken while fulfilling a photo request and are not family. I am glad to transfer. sbritta1ATyahoo.com.

If you are looking for burials in Catholic Cemeteries in Chicago, the records are now available to anyone at "Family Search" Illinois, Archdiocese of Chicago, Cemetery Records, 1864-1989. There are more than 1.5 million indexed images of the records. Plot location, date and location of death as well as info on other family members buried at the same location. Some of the records from the 1800's were recorded at 1900. Example 1895 was recorded as 1995. Hope this helps you solve some puzzles.

Hi Susan
I wanted to thank you for attempting to get a photo of this grave. By chance did the office mention who may have rented/bought the grave location?

Thank you!
Susanne, I just wanted to tell you how grateful I am for you taking the time to provide a photo of my great-grandfather Xavier "Perry" Krus buried in St. Boniface cemetery. I live a day away, work full time, and it's difficult to get away. Thank you again so much; I really appreciate it!

RE: Elizabeth Lizzie Jene
I see the 1891 burial Eliz Jene is a 75 year old. Born in 1816, but unsure where she fits into that family.

My Lizzie is just 4 years old. Her father Adam died of TB in 1886 and mother Mary Hoffmann Jene died in 1889 also of TB. I suspect she is buried with the rest of her family in the Hoffmann Jene plot.

Ok, thanks I will check that. I saw that resource today on your page and copied it, what a great resource.

Elizabeth Lizzie Jene
Thank you for your message on Lizzie. I have a copy of her death certificate, she was 4 years old and died Oct 17 1886 of tubercular meningitis. And the certificate says she was buried in St Boniface.

Her parents were Adam Jene and Marie (Mary) Hoffmann.

They had a number of other children, and two died in 1880s, Mary in 1881, and another Elizabeth who died in 1884. William died in 1917, and Margaret in 1918, and Christian in 1959.

There was no one else I know of who died in 1891.

Is there anyway to tell if the person listed as Lizzie who is listed in 1891 is buried with the above family?

Sebastian Keil
Hello and thank you so much for attempting to find Sebastian Keil's grave. He was the superintendent of St. Boniface cemetery for a 24 years beginning in 1863, so I guess I assumed he would have a marked grave and be fairly easy to locate.

Thanks so much for your efforts!
