I am amazed how as long as i have been on FAG how contributors are so unprofessional. They act like they own certain cemeteries. Trying to ask people to edit memorials if duplicated is almost impossible |
It should be a mutual effort to help others.
We are doing many cemeteries. We are all
human and sometimes make mistakes.
Please ask permission before posting my personal family photographs, photographs I have taken of grave stones or biographical material I have written from my memorial pages on this site to Ancestry.com or any other website or personal webpages.
Four years ago we started using Find a Grave and just were out there looking for relatives. It is not a numbers game for me. It found us roaming around in cemeteries trying to locate my ancestors. We have been doing many memorials of people in many cemeteries. If you see someone who is your relative please ask for a transfer within FAG guidelines. We long ago decided that inputting names from a book from libraries or other sources are subject to inaccuracy. You have to do the actual walking in the cemeteries to confirm dates and names and families. We take managing memorials seriously. If you want the memorials, you tacitly accept the responsibility of editing them.
My family lines are Foster , Egloff. Sanders
Lively ,Maag Huskey ,Cobb and Cates.
Thanks to my husband Milton Yuan for developing my family genealogy website I want to share the link with you: www.lindalively.com .It will link my family and ancestors and added pictures that have been collected and shared with anyone interested in the Foster/Egloff/Lively/Maag family
In the event that i am unable to continue to manage my memorials. I want my husband will manage my memorials (Milton Yuan. 47296715). He works very hard to help me transcribe and likes helping on Findagrave.
Please visit my sponsored memorials and leave a token for my family. My father, James and mother, June Foster Lively; My brother James Lively Jr.

Thank you for creating a memorial for my aunt Goldie who is buried in the Sunset Cemetery in Evansville, Indiana. I appreciate that you also including her obituary! If it is not too much trouble could you please link her to her parents Oney Gish #54313138 and Oma Mae Brown Gish #54313115. I have created memorials for her husband Raymond Leo James#182468279 and her son Patrick Oney James#182468061. I have linked them to her memorial as well. I have taken pictures of their headstone, I will download it later. Thanks again for all your hard work!

Linda, I've been providing updates to some of these memorials and thought I might introduce myself. Mary T. Meyer is my mother's first cousin. Thanks for creating these memorials. My Southern Indiana family names are Meyer, Wenning, Loeders, Ruhoff and Drexler. All names except Meyer have daughtered-out.

Thank you so very much for the photo of the marker for Elsie. Thank you also for the wonderful work you do for Find A Grave. It truly is a wonderful gift you provide.
Sorry for the delay with my response. We have been traveling a lot this year so not much time to devote to my hobby.
Thank you again.

I'm wonder if you would mind, please, correcting the spelling of Marian's first name. From Marion to Marian. Marian G. Hammers is well known for her contributions to genealogy in the Hopkins County, KY, area, especially publishing four books on cemeteries in Muhlenberg County, KY, -- and many others too numerous to list! I've wondered what happened to her these past few years because I considered her a friend. I have not been able to find an obituary for her. If you happen to be related to her, perhaps you would know. And thanks for making the name correction. ...Dorann O'Neal Lam
