|As a researcher of my family heritage, I have found many helpful tools. Find a grave is an excellent resource to share family records and the "extra" records I have cataloged in my surname searches. |
I have only a few relatives at Mt. Olivet. I have attempted to present the records in an easily searched venue. Original data in spreadsheet form can be found here (http://lovelylane.net/home/internment-records/). This file has now been updated to include an indication that the grave has a stone or no stone. Check it out.
Anything I post may be used elsewhere but I ask that you properly attribute me as a source.
*****If you are related to the person I created the memorial for, I will transfer the memorial to you, with the exception of a few surnames I have a research interest in. Please use the "Edit", "Suggest a correction" feature.******

Thanks for the edits, Lance. Funny how I happened to stumble upon her headstone only to find you had already done so too. Small world.
Hi, Thanks for the transfer! I can't believe how many of my kin are found in your entries. Thanks for adding them.

No, I just rescue old photos with ID and I find a descendant to return them to but keep scans so I can also circulate them. Once I sent an old photo to an historical society in New Hampshire and another time I sent a framed marriage certificate to a family in Texas. It's interesting to me and satisfying...even though in some cases those photos just might end up in an antique mall in the next 20 years! Take care and thank you for posting that memorial so I could attach the photo!

I left images of the front/back of a photo of Rev. Charles Tippett and his wife on this memorial site. I hope you don't mind...

I'm not sure if I mentioned it, but he's buried beside his wife Genevieve. You can find both photos under Baltimore National.
Thank you again,

|Lori Thomas||missing children of william fairbanks and Mary C Pumphrey|
I'm interested in the family of William Fairbanks and Mary Pumphrey Fairbanks. The 1900 census tells me that Mary had 4 children but only 2 living. As I look through the records of this family, it appears that these children might their missing children. Is there anything at the graveyard that might indicate a connection between these children and their parents? Are they near Mary and William's graves or Mary L or Georgias grave? The heading on the gravestone is very similar to the heading on Georgias and Mary L's and Mary Pumphrey's gravestones. Any information you can share would be appreciated.
