All photos that I take for Find a Grave are taken by me. I retain the copyright to them. You do not have the right to take my photos and reuse them on any website. That is a violation of the law and the terms of the Find a Grave website. If you wish to use my photos for some purpose, contact me and ask. Just because I post a photo, or fulfill a photo request, that does not mean you can use the photo as you wish. |
I take pride in the photos that I take for Find a Grave. I spend a lot of time working with my photos to try to get the best shots that I can. I do not like to see poor quality photographs, photos that are cut off, not framed properly, etc. Therefore I do my best to get respectful and quality shots.
Photographers should remember, there's more importance in capturing a stone than just reading what it says.

Thank you very much for adding the bio note.

Finally found his WW-II draft card. Gives birth place as Cleveland, Cuyahoga, Ohio. His death certificate lists Michigan but his parents weren't living in Michigan at the time of his birth. They lived in Cleveland in 1900 (per census) & Lorain, Ohio in 1910 (per census).
Alden was my 2nd cousin 1x removed. Transfer would be fine but not needed.

Hi Natasha, you posted a grave photo of my great uncle Arthur on his memorial. Would it be possible to use on my Hughey Family Tree? Thank you for taking the picture.

I enjoy reading old newspapers (Library of Congress website) and trying to match the stories and articles to the memorials here on F-A-G. I have run across a wedding announcement for Alfred Power Jones and Elizabeth Lacy in The Washington Hearld on 10/19/1916. It has me confused. When I tried to find a memorial for the bride and groom, I was not successful. I looked instead for the brother mentioned in the announcement, I found Rev Jones. However, the memorial says Alfred P and Elizabeth Lacy Jones were his parents. Maybe this is a family member for you. In any event, I thought you might like to see it.
It sounds like a lovely wedding!

Thank you. i've added your update.
I am working to document the involvement of George Bascombe Marshall in the aircraft industry on Ancestry.com. His grave marker would be helpful toward this end. May I use the photos (unedited) with attribution?

Thanks you so much for taking the time to go out take this gorgeous photo and then to post it too. I appreciate it more than you will ever know. Do you mind if I use your photo for a private family tree? I would be grateful if I could, either way thanks for your volunteer work for findagrave.
|Carol & David||Abram & Mary Randolph|
