Bio Photo “THIS IS A CEMETERY...lives are commemorated - deaths are recorded - families are reunited - memories are made tangible - and love is undisguised. This is a cemetery. Communities accord respect, families bestow reverence, historians seek information and our heritage is thereby enriched. Testimonies of devotion, pride and remembrance are carved in stone to pay warm tribute to accomplishments and to the life - not the death - of a loved one. The cemetery is homeland for family memorials that are a sustaining source of comfort to the living. A cemetery is a history of people - a perpetual record of yesterday and a sanctuary of peace and quiet today. A cemetery exists because every life is worth loving and remembering - always.” Mary Lou Brannon

RE: Gladys S Gamblin (Parks)
Thank you for the quick correction on the memorial, thinking their mother might have had a second life, gave her children quite a fright....LOL!!
Happy Graving.

Gladys S Gamblin (Parks)
Memorial #147772616 shows Gladys as the mother, she is not. Gladys was born and raised in Red Deer, Alberta and was never in Missouri in 1920. Could you please remove her from the memorial. Thank you.

RE: Cedar Grove
I do not know of a Cedar Grove other than the one with the Polkton address Cedar Grove Baptist Church. The only African-American I know with a close name is Cedar Creek Missionary Baptist Church but it is in the opposite end of the county.

RE: Rocky Ford East Cemetery
The correct name is East Rock Ford Baptist Church. This church is just inside the city limit of Wadesboro but it is on the same road as West Rocky Ford Missionary Baptist Church. West Rocky Ford is out about four miles out of town.
