Bio and Links
Bio Photo I retired in 2001 after 31 years as an agent with the U.S. Border Patrol and USINS. I also then worked two years on a contract with DHS. I have been active in cemetery research in Clay County, MO, for a number of years. I have also enjoyed doing research to locate the graves of some of the Medal of Honor recipients whose graves were never marked, or who never received the recognition due them.

Anyone may use any of my photos from Find A Grave for their own historical research. If you need one of my memorials transferred to you, let me know.

Lately, I have been trying to track down the graves of the men of the 4th Iowa Cavalry. I have met some very helpful members, and thank them for everything they have done to help me.

RE: 1LT Jonathon Anthony #291815

Kent...I am seeking to identify and enter as many of the two hundred nine thousand one hundred forty-five (209,145) USCT Troopers as possible into my USCT Virtual Cemetery, and, also, I seek to place a URL in their Memorial(s), which will cause all persons who surf to their individual memorials to become aware that a massive USCT Virtual Cemetery currently exists which said surfers may also access. Currently a little over three percent (3%) of the USCT Troopers have been entered into said cemetery, i.e., six thousand four hundred and two (6,402) Troopers.

I believe, and, contend that making persons who surf Find-A-Grave aware of this “USCT Troop Grave Locator/Genealogical Research Resource” will greatly assist them in their search for their ancestors/descendants.

I would respectfully ask that you copy and paste the HTML Code herein below at the top of the Bio of the USCT Find-A-Grave Memorial(s) which you currently manage.

Instructions: Copy the HTML Code herein above, then, click on the “Edit” button located on your Memorial. Scroll down to the Biography Section and paste the HTML code into the top of said Section. Before you click on the “Save Changes” button, make sure that you remove blank space which appears after the < symbols located in the HTML Code. Thereafter, click on the “Save Changes” button.

Once you have completed the insertion of said HTML Code, the following will appear in your Memorial:

Hello Kent,I have noticed you have worked this Cemetery in Clay County MO.Do you recall if it's on private land? And do you have knowledge of how I can refind it? Find A Grave Memorial# 25579153 This is the memorial you created if it helps in a recall of memory...Thanks for your time

Your Photo

Hello Kent,

Your photo is precious! I checked your bio as I found your photos at the Cates Cemetery in Caldwell County. I then looked at your page and just had to tell you it's one of best photos I've seen for a Find A Grave volunteer.
