I must first Thank You for including the maiden name, finding her was merely a fluke. I am descended of Anna Margarethe Engelhardt Lutz (2nd Great Grandmother) her sister, I found her through husbands partial name off one of Anna Margarethe Engelhardt's son's draft card, it said he worked for Henry Th#ir@! (illegible). I used what I knew about A.M.E. She was Christened in 1857 in St. John's Lutheran Church and married there in 1880. So I was checking the Lutheran Cemetery, I was searching for Engelhardts and Middendorfs looking for A.M.E's parents, when I came upon the headstone of Henry Thieret, upon checking on Find A Grave
I've been searching really hard for their parents Christian Friedrich Engelhardt and Helena Middendorf, I am unaware of how many children were born to them. I know virtually nothing about them except their names and that they immigrated to the US in September of 1856, I know this only because A.M.E was born on the boat in the Atlantic Ocean September 16, 1856. She has at least one other unnamed sister. Engelhardts in Randolph County are rare and the ones I do know of, are over in Baldwin.
If you're related to Louise I can give you what I know.
Full name: Josephine Margarethe Louisa Engelhardt Thieret
Parents: Christian Friedrich Engelhardt & Helena Middendorf Engelhardt
Siblings: Anna Margarethe Engelhardt Lutz at least one other sister exists.
Heinrich Hermann Ludwig Thieret
Lillie Katherine Margarethe Thieret
Edward Nikolaus Friedrich Thieret (listed)
and Henry L Thieret (highly probable)

|Dave Milster||RE: Sarah Risner Memorial|
Thank you for transferring Sarah to me!
My email is firstname.lastname@example.org Would you mind sending me an email so I can reply privately?
I've been searching for my relatives for a long long time and only recently discovered I have some third cousins. My dad (Harry J III) was an only child. His dad (Harry J II) had one brother who died having no children. Harry J II's wife Laura was an only child. His dad (Dr Harry J I) was orphaned as a child and had two sisters, one was a nun and we haven't found the other one. Dr Harry's wife Eliza Jane Maack we discovered recently had brothers and sisters. That's where I found a third cousin. Eliza's mother was Sarah Risner.
Anyway, now it sounds like I've discovered another relative. (your husband)

I see you have requested a PHOTO at the cemetery in Husum. (good luck with that one)
What are the names you are researching in Husum or surrounding communities?
My Blocks are from Husum and Schessinghausen, as are my Homeyers and Luhrings, and a host of other names I am researching.
Just curious what names you are working on.
