RE: Nelson Wilder
No, I think because there's a stone there, it should stay. Both memorials are valid. Maybe one day we'll find out which should be marked as a cenotaph. I'll put that on my to do list. Thanks.

RE: Nelson Wilder
Hi Ron,
Thanks for the reply. Obviously, with a stone in each cemetery, one is a burial and the other is a cenotaph. Seems reasonable that he's still buried in Davison, but no proof either way as of now. So neither memorial is a dupe. Maybe someday I'll do some more research. Will let you know if I find anything of interest.

Thanks for all you do in SW Iowa. I see your name on lots of good work.

RE: Samuel Henry
No problem. I am sorry for the delay, however I have an answer for you.

If you look up Braddyville Cemetery there are 4 photographs that have been taken of the cemetery sign. These are photographs of just the cemetery only, and not a specific headstone.

My photo of Braddyville Cemetery just happens to be the most recently uploaded.

I believe if you "manage" the actual memorial (Samuel Henry), you can choose to either show the primary cemetery photo on your memorial or not. If you click on the link, you have the option of showing the primary cemetery photo on your memorial, or turning it off.

Let me know if you need anything else.

Good Morning Ron-

I have absolutely no idea. I haven't been on this site for quite some time, and saw that I had two separate messages from you.

I have been to the Braddyville Cemetery a few times, and am quite a fan of adding images, whenever possible. I don't see the message you are speaking of???

McMichael
Hi Ron -- I just wanted to thank you for the photos you've taken of various McMichael graves in Page County, Iowa. The couple I am almost positive are my 4x-great-grandparents William and Martha (as well as their children, etc.) have turned up and it's been great to be able to see the stones since it may be quite a long time before I'm able to make it out there in person.

I appreciate your efforts!

Arminda Atwood and Rev. Rutledge
Hi Ron. I am related to Arminda and was wondering if you have any additional information about her? She was married more than once (Flora, Ruteldge, Martindale) and it looks as if she may have gone back to Rev. Ruteldge after her Martindale husband passed. This is from an 1880 Iowa census also showing Cleaver grandchildren. Any of this ring a bell? Thanks, Alan Atwood

Laughlin Family
Hi there,

I have been researching some of my ancestors and see you have a photo of my 4th great grandparents graves, James Gilliland Laughlin and Ruth Russell Laughlin in Grove Cemetery. Do you still take pictures? I think there are more Laughlin graves in the cemetery I would like to get photos. Would you happen to know if there are anymore Laughlin's buried in Grove Cemetery or where I could find out?? If you could let me know it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Anthony Laughlin
