A Marines Daughter
RE: Capt. John Kendrick
Sorry, I do not have another picture. When the weather gets better, I would be happy to go back, and get better pictures.

Infant Farris
I have been trying to place your Farris in a lot in Oak Grove Cemetery where Gardiner Vital Records cited his gravestone. This appears to be an error. I have been working the Gardiner Library that has the cemetery association records and tryng to place and record who is buried in the Cemetery. Recently, it has been discovered that The Infant Farris, son of E. P. and Harriet Farris was buried in Plaisted Cemetery with his mother. His gravestone was recorded there in 1972, but has since been lost, only his mother's stone is now visible. The State Library has a map of the 246 buried in Plaisted cemetery which show where Harriet and her infant son are buried in Plaisted. Peter

Vannah Photo requests
Hi Andrew,

I was able to gain access to the Vannah Family Cemetery in Nobleboro, Maine. The Vannah Farm passed to the Bickford family upon the death of Hudson Vannah. Jim Bickford, my good friend, went with me to the farm as the property is currently rented. There are 17 burials at this cemetery that span 5 generations. There are only two headstones and one family monument. Several of the burials recorded on the monument are also listed by small markers.

I am going to add some of the other burials in this cemetery and go back and take some additional photo's.

The stones are badly in need of cleaning. I was able to use a plastic scraper and remove some of the lichen so that I could get a photo.

Hope that this is helpful..

Weston Williams 45489536
Hi Andrew,

Was wondering if you had any additional information for this memorial. I think that Weston, might be an ancestor from my Williams line. I was at the cemetery at the Head of the Bay Owls Head, cleaning my Gr Grandmother Sweetland's (Wife of Edgar Guptill) stone. I had photographed the Weston Williams stone in the past, but yesterday did a little cleaning and noticed the inscription on the back for Weston. I will need to delete the duplicate memorial that I created and I will take photographs of the stone to add to the memorial that you created.

I have also contacted the owner of the Vannah Farm in Nobleboro through his brother, who is a friend of mine, to see about getting the photo's you have requested from that cemetery.

Larrabee Memorials at Seaview, Rockland
Hello Andrew,
Many thanks for your help with subject memorials. The photos of monuments are very good. I visit the area only once each year, which makes it difficult to search through all the cemeteries. My ancestors thank you.

Riverview Cemetery - Knox County, Maine
Hello Andrew,

First of all, thank you for your work on Find A Grave! I am wondering if you know if there is a finding aid or map of burials (I realize this is a long shot) of the Riverview Cemetery in Knox County. I am doing some research for the university for which I work, (in Kansas) and our first female graduate has a tombstone there, according to Find A Grave. She also has one listed at Waldoboro, which I think is actually the correct place - although her husband is evidently buried in Riverview. I am hoping to eventually get a photo of the tombstone at Riverview.

Thank you so much,

Hello Andrew,
Unless you are particularly keen to hold onto management of subject memorials at Seaview Cemetery, Rockland, I would be most grateful if you would consider transferring them to me. They are my 3x great-grandparents and Rockland is the city of my paternal grandmother's birth. I was there last September searching for members of the Freeman, Larrabee and Godfrey families in the various Knox County burial grounds, with moderate success.

Thank You!
Thank you so much for trekking out to the cemetery and taking those photos. It has answered my questions and I appreciate you having put them up on the Find A Grave site so others can have access as well.
Now about that little grave up in Caribou...............
