Do you have anything that tells who Mary's parents are? I am bet they are Henry Russell & Chloe Smallwood. The family were in Wayne County at that time. Zadock was married in 1826 who I descend from. I joined the SAR by Henry being in the War.

I think Mary was a daughter of Henry Russell b.1755 & Chloe Smallwood.
1850 Tippecanoe census Lists Mary being born in NC. Mary and Samuel were married 1825 in Wayne County. Prior Russell was married 1822 in Wayne County Zadock Russell was married 1826 in Wayne County. These 3 families want to Tippecanoe County. Samuel & Mary show up there in 1830. Will have to check on Prior & Zadock.
Mary fits in as being the second child of Henry Russell.
What connection do you have with Mary if any? I know Mary was the second of Samuel.
I joined the SAR by Henry.

Yep that is my family, skills just passed away on Monday. Marie was my dad's mom. Malcolm (Mick) and Joyce were my parents. I also have a sister Lydia. We are both now living in the muncie area.
Maria Pattengale is my great grandma and I have no pics or anything is there any way to get a pic of her head stone or any info you may have on her!
Thanks a million for your contribution to the genealogical community, helping to photograph and get headstone photos on the web.
Could you please correct the information for Margarett Geyer, wife of Michael Geyer in the Pretty Prairie Cemetery.
The headstone reads
died 22 Feb 1890 - 77 years 7 months 8 days

Do you know if there are records of early burials at the Pretty Prairie Cemetery? Or early transcriptions of headstones? I have several family members buried there but their headstones are difficult to read. It also appears that these families have plots so I wonder if other family members are buried there. Thanks

I am researching my family tree and I believe this person married into the Swiger family, and had a daughter, Elizabeth Caroline Swiger. Are you related to Martha?? Would you have further information on her ?? I'd like to compare/share info on this line. Feel free to email me directly if you prefer.
THANKS FOR ALL THE POSTINGS YOU DO!!!

He is buried in the Pretty Prairie cemetery. His death date on his memorial is not right, probably a typo. Do you have his actual death date? He was still alive in the 1880 Census as a 50 yr. old.
