Besides graving family members I also add as many veterans graves as I can handle.

If I have added a grave in your family I will gladly transfer ownership upon request.

Dear Kevin, I would be more than happy to transfer this memorial to you, if you would like. What is your Find A Grave #, so that I might transfer her?

Sorry about my entry and your loss.

RE: Galen Lorenz #115043391
Thanks for letting me use your photo! Galen and my grandmother were first cousins, her father and Galen's mother were brother and sister. I am from Harlan about 18 miles N.E of Walnut. If you have any information on his family you could share I would love to see it.
Thanks again!

Thank you for adding a photo of the stone for Oscar. I apologize as I now see another Find A Grave person has a photo of the same stone. I did not see the stone photo when I previously looked. Thank you for posting the photo and for working with Find A Grave. It is appreciated.

Should have read
When people have entered additions or corrections for pages into the new data entry form on the edit tab on the individual pages, IT WAITS THERE FOR YOUR APPROVAL OR REJECTION FOR ABOUT 21 DAYS.

RE: Julius Johnson in Dovray
At the top of your profile page is an edit tab. When people have entered additions or corrections for pages into the new data entry form on the edit tab on the individual pages. This is faster than the old suggest a change system. Find a grave started doing this last spring but without notifying us. It was months before I realized it was there.

You should find the data I entered waiting there for your approval. If you don't act on the suggestions, they automatically post in about 3 weeks.

If this isn't clear, please write again.

Our Savior's Cemetery in Dovray
Would you consider posting the following as a caption to your photo of the cemetery sign? I will try to get Find a Grave to add it to the cemetery information on that page but would like it to be there even if it is hidden, in case they don't post it.

The southern part of the Lake Shetek Norwegian Lutheran congregation desired to form a congregation on their own. They met January 12, 1898, at the Jasper Johnson home and organized the Dovray Norwegian Lutheran Church.
Charter members were: Ole and Christ Hager, Martin and Ole Norstegard, Tosten and Math Lien, Math Olsen, Erick Peterson, Jasper, Joe, Iver, Jack, John, and Ole Johnson, Peder Iverson, Haaken Engen, Paul Vold, Simon and Math Tostengard, Hans Oiom, Jack Severson, and Arne Rosland.
Ole Hager donated two acres of land for the church and cemetery. The church building was 56 X 26 feet, cost $1,636.65 and was dedicated July 15, 1900 by Reverend L.P. Thorkveen. On June 22, 1908, the church was destroyed by a cyclone. Church services were held in homes until the church was rebuilt, the same size on the same foundation at a cost of $2,161.65.
The second church building was also destroyed, being stuck by lighting and burned to the ground on June 19, 1931. The Ladies' Aid had purchased the old Bank building in Dovray and this was used for services until and agreement was made with the German Lutheran Church of Dovray to use their church, which became the property of Our Savior's in 1945.
In 1952 a new church was built and dedicated. A parsonage was built near the church in 1963.
The list below was transcribed in cooperation with the Murray County Veteran's Service and volunteers. For comments, corrections, or information on Our Savior's Lutheran Cemetery, please contact Jim Reinert at 507-836-6148 Extension 154.
The Murray County graving expert is Char Larson who was also instrumental in making this information available.
