I was born in southwestern Minnesota and now live in the Twin Cities. |
My wife introduced me to genealogy in 1998. Since then I've discovered a little Scottish in my otherwise Norwegian and German ancestry.
The cemeteries of Rock County, Minnesota (Maplewood, St. Catherine's Catholic and Memory Gardens also known as Restlawn Memorial Gardens, and Luverne Memorial Gardens) are of particular interest to me.
My goal is to keep families connected to their ancestors through Find A Grave. I will gladly transfer memorials to family members.
Please submit any additions or corrections to me under "EDIT" and "SUGGEST A CORRECTION" on the memorial site.

|Robert F. Martin||Walter Haglund/ Haglund Family|
Thanks Greg. I did a good search last night I think I found John Haglund in Coos Bay which is where the family is from. He's buried in a Cemetery that is on F.a.g. I've reached out to them for info. Thanks again !
That was Tennison. Sorry

I use Ancestry.com & they are in my family tree. I use the information obtained from there. SS Death Index, Iowa, Births and Christenings Index, 1800-1999, U.S. Public Records Index, 1950-1993, Volume 2, etc.

Thank you for the link to the parents of Charles Ellis. This will certainly help someone in the future! Martha

I have a copy of His Minnesota Death Certificate Which I had found in the Minnesota Historical Library and Museum in St Paul the Index # is 1946-MN-021366 if you wish I could send you a copy but I would need your email address to send the attachement. Unless you would like me to attach it to the memorial if I can find out how to do that.
or if you would prefer you can go to www.familysearch.org and his PID is 246C-MVM the death certificate is attached in Memories and also as a Source.

Thank you so much for creating this memorial, and then transferring it to me to manage. I sincerely appreciate this opportunity.
|Arlin Super||RE: Mina Helene Skattum Johnson Memorial|
I've also been unable to find any death record for Mina except for her Findagrave.com listing (101000850)showing her 1948 death. She is buried with her husband Eli N Johnson. While the Apr 1940 census has the family farming in Martin TS, Rock County, MN, his Apr 1942 Draft Reg. indicates the family was then living in Hills, Rock County, MN. His 1960 death record shows Rock County, MN.
It seems likely that Mina (Minnie H in 1940 census)also died in Hills or at least Rock County, MN. But again, I can't find any death record.
