I was born in Murray Ky and lived in this area all of my life except for about 7 years I lived in southern Ill.|
Now im back in Calloway Co. and will probably die here, I hope not to soon though maybe in 40 years or so but if it's sooner then I will not complain because I have had a good life!
Also if there is any wrong info that I have posted or if anyone want's to add to what I have already then just use the suggest a correction feature and I will edit the changes.
Also if you want a memorial I maintain then just use the edit tab and ask for it im not related to 98% of the ones that I made a memorial for but if I am then I will let you know and then see who is more close related.
Ok I was going to add more to my Bio but will later

|Garrett Herndon||Wilcox Cemetery|
I went to the Wilcox Cemetery in Locust Grove to scope it out. It is in a field that my father farms on. I found two stones that I am pretty sure are graves. One of them was a flat piece of stone on the ground, and another was a small stone planted into the ground like a normal grave marker that I found hidden in the cat-tails. Besides that, I found randomly scattered stones akin to brick pieces throughout the cemetery (though they were not planted in the ground) and a couple of metal rods. Plus, the sign on the utility pole beside the road is gone. Some of these remnants may be remnants of some markers that were moved to Locust Grove Cemetery. I posted memorials for the stones on Find-a-grave.
P.S.: I do recall there being a sign on a utility pole beside Locust Grove Cemetery that called the same cemetery "Perry Cemetery." There are a couple of Perry's buried there.

Thank you for taking this picture and adding it to Ruth's memorial. My middle name is Boisseau. I noticed your name was Thweatt. I believe these families came together somehow, in Petersburg,Virginia or that area.

Hello, Do you know if the Vida on his headstone is the Spouse listed in the obituary?
|Ina Scovel||RE: Outland Cemetery pictures|
I agree that the headstones are probably really bad about now. We have some family that I believe may be buried in Outland but their headstones are probably gone. We have Garlands, Smiths, Cochrans and Williams buried here. I now have pictures of the headstones (thank you) of those we are sure are there. If you need any pictures taken out AZ way, let me know. :)
|Ina Scovel||Outland Cemetery pictures|
Thank you so much for posting the pictures from Outland Cemetery. We have a lot of family in that cemetery and since we live in Phoenix, AZ, it makes getting there in person pretty difficult.
They are great pictures and thanks again,
Ina 'Pat' Scovel
