My husband and I are avid geocachers, and have gotten in the habit of photographing cemeteries while on our frequent road trips throughout the Midwest. We try to fulfill as many photo requests as we can, or will simply snap a few shots of interesting headstones. Many of the memorials we have created were the result of photographing random stones and finding that they were not already listed on Find A Grave. If any of these memorials are relatives of yours that you would like to manage, we will be happy to transfer ownership to you. Just ask!|

Thanks so much for adding my paternal grandmother's memorial and her husband Simon Paim. I just have a random question as to if you remember if it was easy to find her gravesite or not. I know it may look different now since you added it in 2014. I went once and was overwhelmed by the amount of gravesites and how close they were together so I didn't locate it. I also looked at a map the cemetery had and it the print was so tiny it wasn't much help. I see you've added numerous memorials so I understand if you don't remember at all. Thanks again!

|Ruth Smith||Cornelius O'Shea - St. Mary's|
Found his death certificate and will send an edit so you can add his birth and death dates. It says he was a widow at the time of his death. It appears he lived in a nursing facility in the 1920 census (Ancestry). Ruth
Thank you for the links.

I have a pic of it if you want it! I can hook it to someone's memorial page or I can email it. Your choice!

I took the pics for the Brits in this cemetary. By John Britt Jr.'s headstone was a smaller stone marking a baby that was born in 1901. I can't find mention of the child in their obits. Any ideas? I have a pic of it in case you wanted it.

|Ruth Smith||Cemetery Pictures - thanks|
Just wanted to thank you for all the pictures you have taken. When I see your name, I know you have done a "good deed". Recently I found the picture you took of Daniel Beel in Oran, Scott County, Mo. and was able to link him with his daughter, Anna Beel Halter who is buried at St. Mary's here in Cape Girardeau. Presently, I am "row walking" that cemetery and it sure helps when there is another family member to link someone with. Thanks again. Ruth SMith
|Katherine Guijarro||Davidson memorial bench picture|
Dear Den Mother,
Just a note to say thank you so very much for posting the picture of the Davidson memorial bench to Kevin Davidson's page for me. He was my wonderful cousin and his untimely death devastated us all.
