A cemetery is not a place just to bury the dead. It should be a sacred place for quiet reflection, peace, tranquility, honor, and remembrance. It is a history of people and a perpetual record of yesterday.|
Love begins with a smile...grows with a kiss...and ends with a teardrop....
I will not use chalk, shaving cream, brake fluid or any other potentially harmful methods to enhance the inscriptions. Please do not use these on any photo requests I make, Thank you so very much.
Although FINDAGRAVE can be very useful for genealogy, FINDAGRAVE, as the name implies, is a grave registration site, not a genealogy site. I try to use this as my guide when on this site.
I will NOT add a link to a burial unknown memorial because I am still actively looking for where the person is actually buried. This site is named Find a GRAVE for a reason.
I, Gary Boughton, give you permission to use any photo I have taken if you are kind enough to give me credit for the photo. (Everyone likes to recognized for their time & effort) Thanks so very much.

Hello, Gary. Did you mean to transfer the memorial for Salem T. Clemans, #47532191, to me? I did not request this transfer, and I do not know this person. Perhaps it was meant to go to someone else. Thanks, Chris.

|Bruce Howe Vail||David C. Vail tombstone|
Thanks for posting the photo of the David C. Vail tombstone.
Vail is one of my ancestors and I lived nearby to Peach Lake as a kid. I may have seen this grave site when I was very young -- in the 1960s -- but I have no recollection of it.
There are a bunch of Vails buried in North Salem. There are quite a few at the June Cemetery, which is quite close to the Peach Lake Cemetery.

Thank you for your consideration in transferring my great uncle's memorial to me. I have been able to enhance his memorial with ease, as well as to create an in-text URL link to my maternal grandfather. Thanks for the enormous work you do for Find A Grave.

|Roger D. Davis||Bouton transfers|
Gary, have gladly made the requested transfer to your care.
|Richard Arthur Fenner||Riley Fenner|
Thanks for adding the links. Do you have any idea who the father of Riley Fenner was?
|Jim Ottmer||Sarah G Rhoades Camp|
Thank you Gary for the transfer. I will take good care of the memorial and you have done a great job of setting it up. I will contact person posting photo because I believe it is on the wrong memorial.
Thank you again for your kindness.
