I love old cemeteries and enjoy going to new ones through Find A Grave photo requests.|
I keep the larger original photos, so if you would like me to email you a copy of a photo I have posted, please just let me know.
Not all of the memorials I've added are my relations so please feel free to contact me for possible transfer of management. You have my permission to use any of my photos for personal use, however, please credit me for the picture. If using for commercial reasons, please contact me for permission. Thank you!

Dear Ms. Palmer: Please forgive my error contained in previous message. I am looking for George Springer, Charles' brother and for Ruth Springer, who apparently was married to both of them. Charles died in Florence, SC in 1864, a POW. He was the man who served in the 147th regiment. George, and another brother, David, whom you put on Find A Grave, served in the 109th. Again, I apologize for any momentary confusion. It's late! Kind regards, Natalie J. Woodall, PhD

Dear Ms. Palmer: When you took the photos of graves of David and Cordelia Springer in Lockwood Cemetery, did you by any chance see gravestones for Charles V. and/or Ruth Springer? I can tell you Ruth died before 1900. Charles was alive in 1925 but an inmate in the Binghamton State Hospital. He was a member of the 147th Regiment NYSV. Many thanks for whatever you can tell me. Best wishes, Natalie J. Woodall, PhD

My apologies - now I think the stone should be in the
I am so out of my normal area with this family - my branch was in New York for a few decades then returned to VT...

Monica thank you so much for looking. I think there is a family monument with other names at the top (see above link). The picture on this memorial shows the stone and includes the info on the man I believe to be his son, then the son's wife but cuts off the information for John Jones. If you are ever back that way and don't mind taking a second look I would be very grateful. Thank you Laura
