Both my parents were very interested in family history. They both shared family stories often, and family was most important. From their notes and stories, I started working on my family genealogy. I am hooked and have enjoyed "meeting" new people and "family" through my research. I only wish my parents were still with us to see all the history I have discovered.|
My family research in on the White, Etheridge, Brown, Jordan, Tedder, Johnson, Jernigan, Clark, Wolfe, Turnipseed, and Oliver families.

Hi June, I hope this note finds you well. I was looking at my grandmother's new info. She died in Mobile, and was buried in Putnam. We have never heard of a sister named Ethel Etheridge. She had a sister, Ethel Reid, who married Lemuel Williams. They lived in Mobile. I can't find anything out about Aunt Ethel's gravesite. We also never heard of the Compton half sister. William Reid was her father. He was buried at Choctaw Corner. He was married to Laura Ann Davis who married later Tom Johnson buried with her at Putnam. At some point William's first wife, M.E. Harrison left him and went to Texas. She died there. Thanks for the changes. My e-mail address is firstname.lastname@example.org

Hi June, I'm working on my son-in-law's Tedder Family tree. we know that his fourth great-grandfather was Sion Tedder. You mentioned a Bible of Sion's. I'm wondering if there is a way to see this information. I am trying to see if Sion connects with other North Carolina Tedders like James W. Tedder, born 1773, married to Nancy Barnes. I have had my SIL's DNA test done, but we haven't gotten the results yet. Any help you could give me on this family would be greatly appreciated. Alice Lee

I'm searching for the spouse of Louise Glass, d/o Asa B Glass & Lizzie Cannon. In the obituary of one of her sibings, she is listed as Louise Tedder. I haven't been able to find a marriage or death record for her, although there is a Louise Tedder who d. Oct 2, 1940 in Arkansas. Do you have any information on her husband?
