Crystal Votaw
My grandmother's marriage information is wrong
My name is Crystal Votaw. I'm one of many granddaughter's of Margie Votaw. I wanted to inform you that information I read is not accurate. Her husband was Lester F. Votaw and he was born May 09, 1917. Also my grandmother spelled her middle name 'Carolyn'. I'm not sure who Lester A. Votaw is but he died many years later in 2008. If you have any questions please feel free to email me. Thanks.

Biddle family
Hello Lisa,
I am researching the Biddle family for my cousin. His grandfather was Joe W Biddle, but I am trying to make sure that the one you have listed is the same one I am looking for. Do you know anything about him? Would love to hear from you.

Sidney Byler
Hi Lisa, I see that your grandmother was my great aunt Abbie, as Sidney Byler was my grandfather. Wow. I am happy to meet you. Just joined today. Not sure what all I'll find, but thank you for your contributions. Maybe we can share some photos and info. The last time I say Aunt Abbie was at my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary, May 1985. Looking forward to hearing from you,

James Lewis
Lisa, I went and looked through the grave locator at the Fayetteville National Cemetery and he wasn't listed. I went inside to speak with the manager there and they couldn't find him listed either. So I used the national grave locator and they don't have him either. The office said he might be one of the unknown soldiers buried there and that people are still trying to find the names to go along with the bodies in all of the National Cemeteries. I wish you the best and if I may help you, please let me know. Sarah

Lilly Reeves
Do you have a Lilly Reeves in your line? Her father was George Washington Reeves. I think she married Lewis Tillman Calhoun.

Thomas Elder
Lisa--The marker I found for Thomas Elder is almost totally unreadable, but it was next to Rachel Byler Elder and it was listed in the cemetery book that I have. I tried to clean it but didn't want to do any more damage. Feel free to delete it if it doesn't suit you.
