RE: Grandahl Grave Research
You're welcome. The area where Jane is buried has, as far as I can tell, only one headstone, and not hers. Most of the burials were during the depression, and often no headstone was purchased. Some of the workers there told me they buried people for free at that time, as well. It is possible there are some stones that have been buried, but with so little to go on, there is no way of knowing where. The office believed that no stone was purchased for Jane. I may get a metal detector at some time, and give it a go, but until then, it is a blank field.

RE: Becker
Beckers at that site (B, 310) include:

Emma Becker:

Marguerite Becker:

William Becker:

William Becker, Jr:

Frederick Melchert (an uncle):

Donald James Burt (I have no idea whose son he is):

That's all I know--I found them all in the cemetery records.

Hope that helps,

Gordon Otto Becker @ Woodmere
The little guy does not have a marker, so I put some flowers down where his grave is supposed to be in the plot, and took a photo. Hope it's OK.

The Becker plot is two rows over from my one of my great-great grandfather's plot, believe it or not!

Take care,

RE: Becker
I was happy to help with the photograph. The cemetery is only a mile or so away and the staff at Glen Eden Cemetery is very helpful with locating graves.

RE: Corrections
I see that your search for Robert and Rita Johnsoton is in Indiana. I live in Michigan so your request will be sent to someone else. I hope you have luck in your search.

I will do what I can to find these graves as soon as I am given a new location to search. I had some success today and it give you a certain sense of accomplishment to locate an old grave so that you can post it and fulfill a request.

Thank you for trying. I appreciate you even trying to search for the graves. Maybe I can get my cousin to email you for better instructions. janet

My cousin said if you go in under the archway, it is on the right. She said it is just a stone throw away. If you want to try it, good luck. She also said that you will need ID to get in.

RE: Susan Aaron
Yes, I can look for Johann as well. But section 55 isn't done by plots, and many of the stones are overgrown. So it may take a while...
