Bio Photo I'm researching Ohio and Iowa Herrons
Descendants of Samuel Herron birth between 1801-1810' and Mary Craig birth between 1791-1801'per 1830 and 1840 census. All that I have done in my tree and on Find A Grave is based on some form of proof' I am not accepting of guess work for convenience' No one has proved Samuel Herron or Mary Craig's birth or death certainly not enough to post as fact. "Our Samuel did not marry Pauline Wood in 1850. The Samuel that married her was a younger man, Samuel James Herron a Druggest of 1815 Maryland, had a dgtr Ann age 10 in Illinois by 1st wife,Louisa Lester of 1817-1845. They had a son, Samuel P 1854- 1942" "Joyce Herron"

RE: Mary Benard Herron Borton
Oops! I missed yours when I was building memorials because those quote marks prevent searching for that last name.

RE: Herrons Ridge Cemetery
Hi - Right now, I don't have any more information on the cemetery than what I found and placed in the cemetery bio. I can follow up to see what else the library has and if I find something I'll be glad to get it to you.

What do you have on Samuel Herron? A birth date/death date; his wife's name?

thank you!

Was Grandpa every in the Service? If so, what did he serve under?

Happy New Years!

Given your family connection, and the information that you have, I am more than willing to transfer these to your management.

I will transfer to you John T. Herron (133824086), Sarah B Herron (133824193), and Annie Herron (133824030) so that you can make the modifications.

Are there any other family members for which you would like to take over management? If so, just let me know.

RE: Mary Craig McDowell
My research on Mary Craig and James McDowell is that they married in 1813 in Buffalo Twp., Washington Co., PA, and had 8 children. Mary was born in 1796 in Washington Co., PA and died in 1845 in Stark Co., OH. James married Nancy Carr 4 months after Mary died, and they had 3 children. Since Mary was 17 at the time of her marriage to James, and died before him, I donít think she is the person youíre looking for.

John Herron
You left suggested links for father and mother for John. Are you a family member? Would you want management of the memorial?

Zion Cemetery - Vinton County, OH
Hey Rodney -

I went out to Zion Cemetery today to look for a couple graves. I noticed that the picture you posted for this cemetery has a church beside it. I don't believe your picture is for this cemetery. Could your picture belong in the "Mt. Zion Cemetery" listed in Vinton County? I havent been to Mt. Zion Cemetery, so I I'm not certain if this is the case.

Let me know - Thnx,
