|One Final Gift|
Scatter me not to restless winds
Nor toss my ashes to the sea.
Remember now those years gone by....
When loving gifts I gave to thee.
Remember now the happy times....
The family ties we shared
Don't leave my resting place unmarked
As though you never cared.
Deny me not one final gift
For all who come to see....
A single lasting proof that says
I loved....and you loved me.
by D. J. Kramer
Find A Grave volunteers have connected me
to family, and I count it a privilege
to help others connect with family or friends.
It saddens me when there is no headstone
or it's broken and illegible. I guess that's why I like the poem....everyone needs to be remembered.

Thank you very much, Linda. I really appreciate your time and effort. So sad the stone is in such bad condition. He is one of my husband's ancestors.

Thank you so much Linda for taking the time to photograph Edward's headstone and then download it onto his Memorial. Please know your effort on my behalf was greatly appreciated

Thank you for looking! I was there many years ago and could not find it. No idea that it was unmarked!

Thank you. I appreciate the pictures. Unfortunately so many of these old stones have fallen into abandon and disrepair. It makes me sad.
