I am family tree nut who started out just wanting to get the Pentwater Cemetery done because I saw it was lacking. I was hooked fast! I love Findagrave. I found many missing pieces for my own family tree and I received notes from others saying my worked helped them solve theirs. |
I don't mind transferring Memorials to family as long as they aren't my family too. All I ask is that you don't delete mine to replace with your own.
FYI- If you are one of the mass memorial creators who create a Memorial the moment it hits the newspapers and it places the grave as "unknown" and I come along and know the person personally because they are local and I put them in their correct cemetery, please dont be a jerk and tell me to delete my memorial just because you "had yours first" I dont mind transferring to family but if you have 10K memorials and you live across the state I am not going to delete my memorial just because you got your cart ahead of the horse. FAG is about creating memorials for our loved ones and to help others find burial information in the future..

Hey you gave me your email a few years back in a message about William Gregory, I just saw it and attempted to respond, but unfortunately it didn't work :(

Hi Manda! I just saw your message, I'd love to discuss Ruth Bowen and William Gregory with you sometime! :)
Please give me a call if you wish to discuss more about family. William Gregory was my father's great-uncle and he had visited them a few times. I've emailed you my phone number! :)

I noticed that you put a photo of John Horacek and wife of his memorial. I'm hoping that means you are related. If so. I came across his death nitices/obits. today and added it to his memorial. If not sorry to bother you. Sandi

Eric Huftile had a son George W. Huftile Find A Grave# 161486865. He was married to Laura Reighley, my G. Aunts daughter. George and Laura had 2 boys, Claude and ? I'm trying to find where and when Laura died. Possibly WI. or MI. Thought maybe you could help me if she is in Michigan. That's where she got married. Thank You....Judy

I'm so new to this. Like 20 minutes. Lol. I've done quite a bit of family history research but I haven't ever been on this site. You pored some pics on one of my ancestors records. Alfred Leon Beeman. are you a member of that family line? If not how do you find these awesome pics?

Thanks for writing back :)
It could be that she had a stone made when her hubby passed, as I believe she was a widow.... she seems to have been living with family, (Missouri???)... I think both memorials should stay, but we could reference each others memorials. FYI - she comes/married into from a fairly long line of Quakers.
Blessings to You and Yours.
