I live in North Central Texas. My roots go back to Ireland, Germany, France and other countries I'm unsure of. They arrived in Texas via Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee with names like Brown, Chastain, Brooks, Brooke, Moore and Timmons.|
Woe unto thee who posteth memorials to those who still liveth. Thou maketh it plain that thou art after numbers. This causeth much confusion besides being against Find A Grave policy.
Feel free to use my pictures, etc. on other websites, but please, have the courtesy and scruples to give me credit for them.
PLEASE do not post pictures of death certificates or newspaper clippings of obituaries on any of my memorials. Other pictures are welcome as long as they pertain to the subject person and are NOT PICTURES OF DOCUMENTS. If you wish to add obituary information, send it to me through "Suggest a Correction".

|Randy Clark||Memorial #172454009|
Memorial #172454009 for Marsha Lynn Shaffer Reid was created by a family member on Nov 08, 2016. A second memorial, #175680280, was created four days ago by someone unknown to the family. You added a photo to this memorial. This second memorial also contains several inaccuracies, not the least of which is that Marsha was buried in the Cottonwood Cemetery in Dublin, Texas. She was not. She was cremated and her ashes given to her eldest daughter. I tried to send a message to the creator of this second memorial, a Michauel Bryan, and ask him to have the memorial he created deleted but he has messaging disabled in Find A Grave. Would you please delete his memorial #175680280? He is not a family member or friend of the family and the many inaccuracies in his unwanted memorial are greatly upsetting to Marsha's surviving family and friends. Thank you.
|Paula J||Herman Gowens #10072658|
Thank you for your note regarding this memorial. I cannot fulfill your request to remove Clarence P Gowens as one of Herman's siblings. To request that this be removed you should request that change from whomever is in charge of Clarence's memorial. I would also suggest that when making requests that you add a way to contact you other than having to leave a message on this forum. Sorry I couldn't help but thanks for all you do. Have a great day.

Please excuse my oversight of the previous memorial. I have added the photo to the prev. memorial and deleted mine.
I truly appreciate all of your efforts, and I will try to be more careful in the future.

|Gail Murray||Pernee Gulledge|
Yes, Pernee died of Parkinson's sometime in the early 1980s.
She lived in Graham from the mid 1940s I think, until her death.
She may have have passed in a nursing home in another town (Wichita Falls perhaps?). I don't quite recall. She was my aunt.
To my knowledge, there was no funeral, and perhaps just a cremation. I have lost contact with her daughter (my cousin) since Pernee's death. She worked at Heath Electric for many years.
|Gail Murray||Gertrude Rogers|
oops... pardon the double posting. Am new at this!
|Gail Murray||Gertrude Rogers|
Yes, Pernee Gulledge (Gertrude's daughter) was her married name.
|Kathleen Hill||RE: Samuel A. Wilkerson|
I have written a Biography for him if you want to read it. Many researcher get confused because both of his father's wives were named Martha.
Thanks, again, for giving me the opportunity to present the documented facts.

Thank you for the very quick response and the Transfer of Samuel A. Wilkerson.
