John and Sophia (Failmezger) Durie
Hello:

The burial location should be changed to Riverview Abbey Mausoleum, Portland, Oregon. The current location for Riverview Cemetery is incorrect. These two cemeteries are often mistaken for one another, but they are separate entities. Adding further confusion is the fact that they are located literally across the road from each other.

I posted a photo I took last week of the Durie niche marker at Riverview Abbey, and I've also send an edit request indicating the location of the niche in the mausoleum. Edits were also sent for birth and parentage data for John Durie.

Many thanks for correcting the burial location and for accepting the edits.

Rudy Henley F.A.G#50184039
Would you mind linking Rudy's mother to his memorial? Bonnie Jean Carsner Henley Candler was my step mother and just passed away yesterday. Her memorial is Find A Grave Memorial# 174240857. She wished to be cremated and we are hoping to have her ashes placed at the grave of her youngest son, Rudy. Rudy's father's memorial is Find A Grave Memorial#54627677

Thank you,
Linda Candler Hastings

Scott,
Unfortunately this memorial is a duplicate of one posted on January 28, 2009, the year before yours, by a niece.

Amos and Olive Leek, Redland Pioneer Cemetery
Hey Scott, do you happen to have any idea where their daughter Princess/Princie may be buried? She was my great-grandfather's 1st wife.

Memorial #83354394
The Find A Grave section under FAQ, Membership/Signing In, “What is a photo request?” mentions: “Many cemetery offices will only provide that information (exact grave location to photograph a possible marker) to relatives of the deceased and will not assist photo volunteers with finding the grave location.”

There’s a reason more than 50 requests have not been realized for Woodlawn Cemetery in Green Bay, WI. I suggest you contact the office manager, Mary Lemirande, at (920) 432-6077 or email her at woodlawncem@tds.net to learn the exact location of Infant Thiele #83354394, especially which Park (section) and names of individuals buried on each side (N,S,E,W) of your individual. Then, go back to your “Request A Photo” and add those “notes” so a photo volunteer can at least take a photo of the grassy plot if no marker is present. The cemetery does not usually have a record if or when a marker was placed at a grave site. Without the specifics, the only other suggestion I have is to remove your request. Thank you!
