I really like this site, not only has been very helpful in locating long distance ancestors, but I really like being able to link family members together, it provides the "big picture" when others do genealogical research. |
I am working on finding and adding my Marshall and Williams family in Michigan, Indiana and Ohio, Plus the Cowan family of Michigan and Ohio, and any extended family members off those three tree's.

I noticed that you do not have the oldest son listed - Ralph Hazen Williams. Ralph moved/worked in Huron, South Dakota. He married Louise E. Heermann and they had one son Richard M. Williams. Ralph worked for the railroad and lost his leg in a work related accident. Their son Richard was in WWII and went on to become a pharmacist. He married Jeannette Wright Newlin. After many years of marriage they divorced. Both Ralph and Richard died in Virginia. Louise went to live with Richard after Ralph's death. She came back to South Dakota and died here. Richard died in the Eastern State Hospital. You will find Ralph with his parents in the 1900 Census records.

I just noticed the photo added for Delena Tillman Armentrout. Thank you for adding it to memorial #80378970. My 3rd g-grandmother was Emaline Tillman and I am trying to link her family members. Are you researching the Tillmans?

As I was completing the photo request for Anna, I took an additional photo of a headstone for Robert J. Shore, DOB 6/28/1917 and DOD 3/29/1968. Please advise. Thanks.
I have sent some automatic updates and they have not yet been completed. It is a relatively new way to update and perhaps you are unfamiliar with it. The tab is on your profile page in the upper right hand corner. It reads "Edits."
Thank you in advance,

The picture I posted on Georgia's memorial is a photo that originated from Floyd's family, either his sister Monnie or from Floyd's parents, not sure who.The picture was labled Georgie. The people in the group photo were identified to me by Beachel Bailey,Floyd's nephew. He listed the woman as Georgie, but you are correct in noticing that the resemblance is not there between the two photos.I think Floyd may have had a 1st wife and that she is the woman in the group photo.I posted the group photo on several memorials and usually I posted that I was not certain of the lady's identity since she did not look the same as the photo I have of Georgia.I hope this helps. My beloved mother-in-law died in 2011 and she left me with a lot of pictures and I have tried so hard to find the families of these people and get them copies.I hope this helps, and anything else just let me know.

Thanks again for your wonderful work.
Do you know anything of of William Vanallen, spouse of Lillian Williams Vanallen?
She died in 1910 about a month after the birth of their daughter, Helen Arlene Vanallen Jackson.
I cannot find him after the 1910 census. Helen went to live with relatives almost right away after the death of her mother Lillian.
I visited Pherdun Cemetery today. A very nice gentleman, Mr. Dayton, saw me wandering and came from a house across the road to help. He had charts and books on the cemetery. Very helpful.

I have added the parents of Harold A Jackson 75162537 if you would like to link them now.
They are Gillette Jackson 113869338 and Blanche M Clark Jackson 113869609.
Thanks for your help.
