Love history, gardening, books, my grandkids, my 4 rotten little dogs, 1 cat, & working on Find A Grave, church activities.|
Find A grave, for me, is about honoring the persons we create memorials for. It should NOT just be a NUMBERS GAME.
PLEASE READ THE FAQ pages at Find A Grave I will no longer take action on requests sent to me any way other than using the edit button on memorials I have entered. I will be happy to honor requests done in this manner if they fall within the FAG guidelines.

As I understand only immediate kin can make the request for the headstone. The only other option is if the local VFW or American Legion get involved and they can get a headstone.
Thank you for fulfilling my request with such great photos! I appreciate your time and work. May I use them in my Family Tree? I will gladly give you credit. Blessings, Terry

Find A Grave Memorial# 135797301
I've added your marker photo to document place of burial in his record in the Coffelt Database of Vietnam casualties at http://www.CoffeltDatabase.org.
Thank you for helping us to remember him properly ...

Hi, I thought that might be what you were doing. I have one suggestion if you can do it. Violet Easter, whose headstone is visible to the right of the curbing for Roland and Jerry, is their mother. If you could crop out the other headstones and add a note to the memorial that they are buried in unmarked graves beside their mother, Violet Louise Calico Roland Easter, that would help eliminate any confusion. If you could enhance the photo to enlarge the picture of Violet's headstone, including her sons's graves, that would also be great. If you double click on the picture, you can read Violet's headstone, so you might be able to enlarge it. Thanks so much for your help and whatever you decide is fine with me. I have worked with Find A Grave long enough to kind of read between the lines, but newcomers might just be confused.

Me, again. You have posted the same two photos on Memorial #135411699 for Jerry Roland.

Hi, you have added 2 photos to Memorial #135411762, Raymond Roland. The photos are actually of the headstone of John Leo Kunchick and Launa Kunchick. Please delete the photos from Raymond Roland's memorial. If you do have a photo of Raymond' headstone that you can add, that would be great! Thanks for your work on Find A Grave!!
