RE: Curious...
No. I think you're right where they are because they were all German Catholic, do I doubt they would've ended up at Fountain Springs, which was generally Protestant or non-denominational.

RE: Thank you...
I can take another photo when his permanent marker is placed, as I visit this cemetery regularly. I usually take two photos - one close up and one that shows the surrounding area. In his case, the surrounding area wasn't that useful. That was my intent. I took another photo with more context - I'll replace the one with 3 markers with the larger one - perhaps you'll like that one. If not, I can delete it. Rhonda

RE: Brock Cemetery
Oh, you are so kind and I appreciate this!
I am looking for something on Christian (born 1812)and his wife Caroline Lentz (born 1818). They had several children raised in Ashland....
Henry born in Germany in 1841, Lena who married a Schmidt born in Germany in 1845, William also born in Germany in 1852 and Frederick born in Germany in 1855. Their daughter, Elizabeth, was born in Pennsylvania in 1860. While several are listed on Find A Grave as being interred at Brock Cemetery, not all of them are. I am hoping that there is a "family section" and perhaps their names are on a list the cemetery office might hold.

Brock Cemetery
Hello....I thank you for the photos that you have done and am wondering if you have access to an internment list for those in Brock Cemetery? I am specifically looking for a Christian Lentz and/or his wife, Caroline who were allegedly buried at Brock along with several other Lentz to whom they were related. These would be my 3x great grandparents and I would like to know if they are there and perhaps a photo if there is a headstone.
I would appreciate any help you could offer.
Again, many thanks for the work you do as it is so appreciated! Pamela Whitaker

Farrell & Ferrell
Have you researched the possibility that there are two J. R. Browns; one who married I. Farrell and the other who married L. Ferrell. We only know of him as J. R. on the grave marker and the Death Cert. When the husband is known by his initials only, J.R could become a whole lot of different names. Just trying to come up with some other options.

Lura Marie Farrell or Ferrell ?
Yes I agree. The spelling of her maiden name could be different as indicated in the D. C. I did find the birth record of her son Edward in the N.C. Birth Index and it is spelled as "Ferrell" in that record. Her death record also has a different year of birth than her grave marker. So spelling of maiden name and year of birth don't agree with the marker. Her husband was the informant on the D.C. Was he distraught over her death and gave the wrong info or was the clerk who typed it up a careless typist?

Patrick Sweeney Memorial
Re: Memorial 160814412

I'm interested in the source for your grave location for this man. I have a lady I just added to this cemetery and would like to find out her burial location in the same cemetery.

Patrick might be her husband. I don't know yet. If I find out I'll let you know so you csn link them.

Also, you said something in your Profile about "going over to SVR transcriptions." What does that mean?

My email address is cecilia@joder.net

Thank you,
Cecilia
