Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing genealogy for several years and have taken several pictures of my family and relatives grave stones. I am a retired pastor and my wife and I do a lot of traveling. I have many hobbies but photography probably tops the list even though some pictures don't come out the way I want. When I take a picture I try to make it as readable as I can and try to post all that is on the stone. I'm not just trying to post to get a large number but to help others with genealogy as I have been helped.
I have found a lot of newspaper articles and the funeral brochures that my parents had of people that I didn't know but I have posted several. I would be glad to help in any way that I can. I will transfer your relatives or close friends if they are not my relatives.
You may use any pictures that I have posted for genealogy purposes only.

Old Bliss
Thank you for your work at Old Bliss Cemetery near Sidney, IL. I have been given permission to start cleaning some of the gravestone. The poor old cemetery is going downhill fast. Hope to be able to make a bit of an improvement. Thanks. sherry smith-stanmford

Thank you, Rev. Sims. Yes, I would like to be responsible for Mary Lincoln Reed's site. She is my great-grandmother on my maternal side.

Rev. William Thomas "W.T." Witherspoon
Hello Rev. Sims,
I am the granddaughter of William Thomas Witherspoon. I would like to have Rev. Witherspoon's memorial transferred to me if you wouldn't mind. I have created and am still creating other memorials for this family as well.

Thank you very much for taking the time and effort to post the lengthy biography of my grandfather's life in the church. Did you know him?

Best regards,
Martha Witherspoon Kelley

Dear Rev.Sims,
Daune is my brother and he is not at the Glenwood Cemetery. He is at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Shelbyville.

Thank you,

David Rowley
There is very little information on David Rowley (1904- before 2003) son of Thomas Rowley 81321985. If you come across his grave, I would appreciate being notified. Most of my early Rowley and Hoover relatives are buried in Christian and Shelby Counties. David should not be confused with Morgan Davir Rowley (1903-1960) buried in Pana. Do have any advice how to find a lost grave except family lore?

Thank you.
