WOULD YOU BE WILLING TO TRANSFER MANAGERMENT OVER TO ME ? JAMES S LANDON #39054827 TO ME MIKE #47849397 THANK TOU
|Phil & Kathi||Oh!|
Sorry! I was looking at the wrong photo! The pink is chalk that I applied to be able to read the tombstone...especially in the photograph. I sometimes chalk them, then clean them off when I'm finished.
Sorry for the confusion.
|Phil & Kathi||RE: Asa Dimock Campbell|
Asa and Nancy's daughter, Mary Araminta Campbell, married my 2nd Great-grand-uncle, Jacob Hawk. Jacob's brother, George Washington Hawk, was my great-great-grandfather.
If you mean the spots on his stone, they are more of a yellowish-green than anything, but kind of have a pink shade in the photograph. That is a fungus called linchen that develops on stones that are in close proximity to pine trees. If you notice in the photo, there is a large pine tree behind Asa's stone. It can be easily cleaned with a water/ammonia solution.
Take care and happy hunting!
|Patrick Lombardi||Hiram L. Hillyer|
Thank you, Sandy... for transferring Hiram L. Hillyer's memorial page to my care and for creating it for him. I appreciate your kindness and all the work you have done on findagrave.
I am updating photo's and graves for South Dakota gravestones.org and found your entry for a Margaret Michaelsen memorial #53441197. I noticed that the picture of the grave stone added for Margaret on Find A Grave has the name Greachen along with the names of Jurgen and Robert Michaelsen. Is Greachen and Margaret the same person? If so should this be a first or middle name?

|Jeannie||Sylvenus & Eleanor Campbell|
I searched the Ararat Cemetery again today, but still haven't been able to find Sylvenus & Eleanor. I haven't given up! My neighbor has been a caretaker for many years. I will ask him if he recognizes those names. Just wanted you to know I am still working on it.
