|CC-Genealogy||Benjamin Thomas & Madeline Putnam|
Unfortunately Kris, I have not made any attempt to define the Benjamin and Madeline Thomas line beyond my purposes which are
1. Are Benjamin Thomas b. 14 FEB 1765 and John Thomas b. 16 OCT 1751 brothers?
2 If so, who is their father? (otherwise, still looking for John's father)
3. Are Maddeline Putman b. 1776 and wife of Benjamin; and Nancy Catherine Putman, b. 1769 and first wife of John, sisters?
(I have no concrete answers for those three questions).
I have taken the lines shown for Benjamin and Madeline at face value. I have found no reason to doubt the information.
I hope you have not confused traces of my Benjamin F. Thomas (b. 1808 in Fayette co, Ohio) with your Benjamin A. Thomas (b. 1805). Apparently both of these men were in Scioto County from about 1823 to about 1828 when my Benjamin returned to Fayette County shortly before his father's death.
Let me know if you have further questions.

Hi! thanks for finding great grand dad (and mom), but I think the tombstone is for a grandson, or a nephew . . . Jacob served in the 12th Missouri Cavalry in the Civil War.
Thanks, Matt Wells
