Blond Grave, Toowong Cemetery
Great work Jennifer.

I am the great grandson of George Louis Blond and Johanna Blond who are buried in this large grave.

I visited the site many years ago and it is good to see that the site remains - with some monument collapse.

Your work in taking this photo and others is appreciated, and please accept my family's thanks.

Happy new year.

Joseph Gowar Newman ~ Toowong Cemetery

Hello Jennifer, just a short note to let you know that we are truly grateful and overjoyed for the burial location photo of the husband of my 2nd cousin 2x removed, Joseph Gowar Newman.

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to help a total stranger with my request and to pinpoint his grave. We knew he didnít have a headstone but the photo of where his headstone should be and the area is nice to see. The photo is priceless as I probably will never get to Toowong Cemetery to visit his grave.

Again, thank you so much for fulfilling my photo request; your kindness made me very happy.

Have a good evening,
Jackie ~ Oklahoma City, Oklahoma USA

Thank you!
Thank you so much, Jennifer, for taking a photo of this grave site for me. Thomas Thompson was one of my maternal great grandfathers, who was in his 80's when he died in a fire in an aged men's home in Brisbane in 1942. I only recently discovered he was buried in a public burial plot at the Toowong Cemetery, so I suspected there may have been no headstone on his grave site. Thank you once again, for taking this photo.

Thanks for reporting the error of James Taylor. He was born Harold Plastow so they are one and the same people. He lived most of his life as James Taylor so I didn't think he would have been buried under his birth name. I would love a copy of his final resting place please. Thanking you in advance.

RE: Henry and Ann Keid (# 162207255 & # 162207388)

There was a sister of Henry's...named Annie. I believe that she was born around 1831. Maybe died in 1875? I need to make a memorial for her...and will request a picture.

Thank you again...this has been fantastic!

Henry and Ann Keid (# 162207255 & # 162207388)

Whoa!! What a wonderful receive such nice pictures of Henry and Ann Keid's headstone. Amazing. And wonderful pictures. I especially like how you made a 'graphic' for the inscription. Very lovely...and extremely thoughtful. They are my 3G Uncle and Aunt. I live here in the US. One of Henry's younger brothers was my 2G-grandfather. He came to the States and settled in NJ. 3 of his brothers went to Australia.

You have made my day!

Many, many thanks,
