James Woertendyke
Hi Heather, Ancestry lead me to your posting on Find A Grave while researching James H Woertendyke and his wife Madeline nee Frentz. Searched the same cemetery for Madeline who died in 1962 but she was not listed. Do you know if perhaps she is buried there but not on Find A Grave's list or is she buried elsewhere? Are you related to this family? Any information on James and Madeline or there children, if any, would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

RE: Ida & Leonard Stephens
Heather, In the 1880 NE census Apollo, 27 & Ida, 23 were living in Saline Co., Friend, Johnson Creek Pct. Chancy (sic) was 3 & born in NE. Apollo was a farmer. I added this info to Ida's memorial. I found one with Dr. Leonard living in Summerfield & he was born in NE also. Just him. Been busy with gardening etc. so not much time for research. Luella

RE: Ida & Leonard Stephens
Heather, I had the photos, it was a matter of FINDING them! I was looking for family and walked the cemetery taking every stone until my batteries went dead, another day I got rained out. I hate the stones with no last name, never positive which family they go with. :( I was wondering if the Stephens stone should be on Leonard's memorial also, what do you think? Only has Ida on it. I added your info & gave you credit for finding it, I hope that is alright. I'll keep the memorials until I try to find out more, I might be able to find obits, bad thing it is Marshall Co., not Nemaha or Pawnee in NE. I don't get to Marysville often where the library might have it. With those names you'd think it might be easier to find the rest the family, but they sometimes used a nickname or the middle name. Heather, I added the photos, thanks for the added info, it's always nice to be able to add to the memorial and link them with family. With just the initials that isn't much, but his stone was by her. I took about 500 photos that day, so still haven't got them all on. If you know where the rest of her family are let me know! Luella

I took your photos. Fred and Sarah are buried next to each other but do not share a headstone. Sarah appears to be buried with her husband.

I linked Marie to her mother. However, I didn't add Olivia's memorial so I cannot link her to her parents. Unfortunately findagrave is only set to allow a child to be linked to its parents. You can't link a parent to their children. I don't know the reasoning behind it but that's how it is. So you'll need to send this same request to the user who set up Olivia's memorial and have her link Olivia to Marie.
