I am an avid genealogist and I am extremely interested in corresponding with other family researchers working on their various early TROUT lines (all spelling variations) arriving in America during the 1700s from Germany, England, and Canada. I take great pleasure in frequently assisting other TROUT researchers with their family lines.|

I have looked on the burial card for John and see that it does indeed use the word 'reopen' and gives a burial date of 11 May 1879 - there is a death index register entry for John in the second quarter of 1879 which would tally with his burial being recorded as May 1879. If I can find an answer to the 're-open' and different burial date I will let you know.

Good evening Mr. Trout,
Thank you for sponsoring the memorial page for Christian Trout.
Do you have any information on him as to where he is buried?
Any information would be greatly appreciated and, with your permission, I would share that information with his descendant, who is a member of the Sarah Barton Murphy DAR Chapter in Farmington, MO.

I have him in Dayton Nat'l cemetery #175612483. I could only find his Military records and wife's name, Essie M. He was born in Pennsylvania, lived in Indiana and buried at Dayton Nat'l cemetery. He may have been a patient at the VA. His death certificate gives no info for parents. Any ideas?

Family belongs with family no matter if they are a grandparent or a 4th cousin 5x removed. The rule for transfers is only a guideline, but to some people it is written in stone. I will never understand it.

Would be happy to transfer them to you. Let me know

Hello Craig, I just got a message from findagrave saying you sponsored this memorial.
I have never seen that before and I was thinking it must be because you are somehow connected to her.
If you would like to take control of and manage the memorial, I would be more than happy to turn the memorial over to you.
