I live in the beautiful foothills of El Dorado County, California. I've become very interested in genealogy. One of the most difficult parts of genealogy is locating the final resting places of family members. To help others find ancestors, I joined Find a Grave.|

Here is Milton's memorial page on the 35th Infantry web site: http://www.cacti35th.org/regiment/kia/kia_details.php?person_id=6883&battalion=NONE
Please contact us of anyone has a photo of Milton. Thanks!
|Hollis A. Thomas, MD||Peleg Thomas, Jr.|
You have done some nice work with the Thomas family. When I am able to add dates and details I will suggest them to you.
Peleg Jr., son of Capt. Peleg Thomas, did not have a middle name - he was simply Peleg Jr.
The first Peleg George was his nephew, Peleg George, son of George. He is buried in Cherry Plain Cem., Rensselaer Co., N.Y. Subsequently, there were several Pelegs with the middle name of George.

You are receiving this message because you have submitted a photo request for the above named person(s). I wanted to let you know that I will be traveling to that area from Dallas during the first week of June and I would be able to get the requested photo(s) for you. I do need some help from you tho. While I am in the Chicago area, I intend to get as many names off the list for Evergreen Cemetery as possible. The list is growing every day and is now at 263 requests! Evergreen Cemetery is near and dear to my heart as I have several of my own family members there. If you would please call the cemetery office and obtain the burial plot locations and send them to me, I will for sure get them for you when I go there in June. If everyone could get me the locations I could really get a lot of requests done but I can't do it alone! The office number for Evergreen Cemetery is 708-422-9051. You can leave me a public message with the information, or you may email me at firstname.lastname@example.org Please be sure to reference the requested names. Thank you!

Thank you! There is a familial connection to Rock Island, and I hadn't known her husband was buried there. Thanks again for your assistance with this! By the way, I'm a Sacramento native . . . .

Oh, that would be great! Thanks so much! Evelyn (Groene) Costas (d. 7 Feb 1998) and husband William Costas (d. 1972) . . . just a squarely-shot digital photograph of the entire marker, without (hopefully!) a date stamp in the corner.

Dear K. Thomas,
Are you able to kindly take a grave marker photo for Evelyn (Groene) Costas (d. 7 February 1998) and buried at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in El Dorado County and e-mail it to me at email@example.com? I want to request a photo of her marker but was unable to find out how to do it online other than to write to you. Thank you!

Hi K, I am descended from John Thomas according to "Ancestry". One of his grand daughters, Sarah, married William McMechen and moved to South Carolina. Do you have any information to confirm this line? Thanks, Steve
|Jeff Armstrong||Jefferson and Norma Armstrong|
Kathie - I would like to talk to you about the entries you have created for my parents, Jefferson and Norma Armstrong. I'm very interested in any photos or documentation you have. Can you contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org?

Thank you, K,
I did see the picture of CHR by the side of the car, but unfortunately it'll be too blurry to use on.
The historical guild is collecting any pictures of early residents, so thank you for the offer.
Did your Waterman family operate a hotel in Seneca in the 1800's?
|Jeff Maierhofer||C.H.R. Thomas|
Hi K Thomas and others,
My name is Jeff and I am part of the Seneca, Illinois Historical Guild. We are currently assembling a book about the history of Seneca and have not been able to locate a good picture of C.H.R. Thomas, but would really like to have one since he was so important to Seneca. If we had a hall of fame... he'd be a charter member! Do you or anyone you know have one?
Thank you for any help you can provide!
