RE: Mary Gingerich tombstone
you're welcome! This cemetery is extremely old and many headstones are illegible, Mary's was one of the better ones.

From 'Cemeteries of St. Charles Co. MO'

Your Houchins most likely in Taylor Cemetery.
Hwy. 94 South from St. Charles, right of road (North) just before the Highway F junction. (Actually it is before the Hwy DD and 94 junction. DD coming out only about 1/8 mile before Hwy. F. ) The Houchins place was said to be before you turned the corner toward Defiance. that would make it before the DD junction.) I lived 1/4 mile from this corner. The book of cemetery listings says the cemetery is kept cleared.
James Houchins b. ca 1821 d. ca 1878 Newcomb Funeral Home marker - Kansas City
Martha Houchins d. 1868 Wife of James same funer. home marker.

Only two stones, and several funeral home markers. These two markers are the only ones legible. Cemetery was formerly in the charge of Rev Roland Boone. His report on the cemetery indicates that it contains one-half acre of ground, and was begun in 1838, the first burial being; (The Taylor family)
Houchins 3 children 1864
Houchins Martha 1868 their mother
Houchins James 1878 see above

You're welcome!! Now which photo(s) did I get for you? I'm asking, because I got some "extras" for one of the requestors, but I no longer have a record of who requested what. Thanks for your reply.

RE: Old Pleasant Hill Cemetery
Yes, I believe Old Pleasant Hill is completely transcribed. There may be some unreadable headstones. I typically take pictures of all grave markers and I remember being disappointed when I got back home that almost the entire cemetery had been transcribed, but I was able to fill in some gaps. There are quite a few family cemeteries in the area that are very, very small and on private land. Not sure if that helps.

Just wanted to thank you again for the Callaway County transfers. Some of the deceased are ancesters of mine, some related distantly. I am the 5th generation to live in Callaway County. Most of the family stayed close to Callaway County.
