Tombstone photos for Riders
Last year I made photos of tombstones at Center Grove Cemetery, near Charlotte, AR. I have a couple photos that might be the stones for Obadiah & Nancy but I cannot tell by viewing my photos on computer. I will be glad to send you a copy via email. I know at the bottom of one stone is the name "Obadiah Rider" but the more I view it, I wonder if it is Nancy's grave (my poor eye sight leads me to think there is a "w" above his name, possibly meaning "wife of." The stone next to it appears to have a Masonic emblem, & someone had posted that his stone did have such. When I can, I will go back to the cemetery & try to do a pencil marking, but it may be awhile before I can do so.
One of my children's ancestor, on their father's side, is Stoner. They also have Brogdon, Ross, Bradley, etc ancestors buried there. They connect to the Rider family through marriages.

Stone Family Cemetery
Saw your cemetery listing with Issac Stone and Rev. Edmund Pearson, with credit given to Joe & Francis Upchurch for their work. Decided to locate the six other marked graves at the site. The ornate headstone of Issac Stone has toppled over since the posted photo was taken in 2000. I added a current photo to his memorial, but the headstone is now lying face-down. Added headstone/graveslab photos for all other marked graves. If you would like any of them transferred to your management, don't hesitate to request it.

Appreciate your work and giving credit to the Upchurch tombstone compilations !

Corydon Myers
Betty, I have added photos and all info. I can find on the other Myers family members at Chestnut Hill. I wonder if Corydon was a brother to Jacob H. Myers? Mark Weitzel

Corydon Myers
Betty, I have still been looking. I was at the Historical Society today and found obits for George M. Meyers 1852-1932 born in Beaver, PA. Wifes name was Florence. He had a brother James Meyers, Tulsa, Ok. A few other obits are more recent. A couple of members are helping me search for Corydon but have yet to find anything. The one lady is good at newspaper research so stand by. Mark Weitzel

Betty Lockett Grave
Thank you so much for your time and effort taking the photo of Betty B. Lockett's headstone. I really appreciate it! I love the Find A Grave website and how we can all volunteer to take photos for each other. The very day you volunteered to take this photo, I was volunteering and taking a photo for someone else! This is such an amazing website. It is great how we are all helping each other. Thank you again...
