Bio and Links
Bio Photo Please contact me if you spot mistakes in my submissions or if you have additional information you would like me to add to a memorial. I'm always happy to update my memorials and am prompt about doing so. Before you request a transfer of a relative, please read "How do I get a relative's memorial transferred to me?" under the heading "Editing & Correcting Memorial Information" in the FAQs. Transfer requests should be for DIRECT RELATIVES within FOUR generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Thanks for adhering to the parameter set out by FAG.

Birth cert
I had a few minutes to spare and researched Hettie. I found her birth certificate so you don't need to post it. Thanks!

Hettie Thomas
Hi Pam! You submitted an edit for Hettie but I don't see anything on her memorial page with that information. Can you post what you have as a photo on her page so I can verify the info? Thank you!

RE: Jacob Price in Seneca Co, Ohio
hi Pam - hmm, now I'm confused. Your message came back that I might have messaged you by mistake; also was a message about a Donald Lenwell but maybe that was a message I received once and didn't know about. Not real sure at this point....reality fading.....

Ok, unless I'm mistaken, and I'll go take a peek, but I thought your name was attached to the Price/Carrick/Brough burial. I have since I sent you the note (and THANK YOU for such a rapid reply) found a Brough, Carrick etc associated with Jacob Price but really little back up data for Nancy Brough Carrick's existance prior; I need to plot in the names and search trees to see if someone has documented anything. Family Search shows a marriage but date wise, it all seems peculiar that I am getting certain "facts" but consistency on offspring and the like is very sketchy. None of this will likely make sense so I'll just continue trying to tie this whole thing to something. The strangest part of it all is for a marriage to take place in 1848 but not show the new spouse in the 1850 census. Again, thank you for responding and maybe clarity will come . LOL..............

Jacob Price in Seneca Co, Ohio
Nancy Brough Price is listed as a second wife, marrying Jacob in 1848 **(his first wife died in 1847). However, the 1850 census shows no Nancy or wife but just Jacob and the children. 1860 shows Jacob, a Nancy as wife, some people with the last name Carrick/Cassick and Joseph H Price. Joseph Price is my great grandfather. I have not totally explored this but I think the Brough entry could be incorrect. Or the date of the marriage off. I will further investigate but without documentation of a marriage, there is a chance that Nancy Brough is not the second wife of widower Jacob Price. I'll let you know if I find some information on this and then hopefully, if need be, it can be changed. Thanks in advance for reading.

The cemetery photo is wrong. Minnie is buried in the Block Cemetery, Republic, OH. She was my father's first wife. Thanks for your help.

I believe the obit does have the correct dates. My info on my tree has Oct 1 as the did. It was 1857.newspapers were sometimes only printed once a month so it makes sense for the obit to be in Nov. I am going to leave it as it is. Thanks for the heads up on it .
