I have been doing Family tree research for several years now. The bulk of it centers around the Farrow, Hammond, Silva, and Cash families of the North Carolina coastal area. |
By the way, If someone takes their time and effort to take and post a photo you have requested, have the decency to send them a thank you email. Those two words go a long way. This has happened to me more than I care for, and it is enough to make me want to stop taking photos.

Hello P. Farrow, My wife, Rachel Peed McGee and you share the same g-grandmother -- so, I believe you are 2nd cousins.
I assume you are descended from Celia through either Sarah or Louisa Peed.
Any information you have acquired through family lore or genealogical research on Richard Peed's line in Person County would be of great interest to us.
Rachel and you are descended from Richard through Robert and Elizabeth Macklin to Joseph Purnell and Celia Vincent.
Also, any old family photos would be of interest.
Sarah and Louisa had many siblings and half-siblings. Their brother, John Henry Peed, was Rachel's grandfather.
We, in turn, have extensive information on our mutual Peed line.
Best, Frank McGee

I was very surprised to receive your email. It is always good hearing from you. I was not sure if anyone would be able to take a picture of Bill's Grave Marker. I have never received good reports about that cemetery. Apparently they were cooperative with you and you were able to fulfill the request. For that we are very grateful.
Once again, Thank You for using your time and effort.

THANK YOU P.FARROW VERY MUCH.
I am so sorry that the staff at the Evergreen Memory Gardens did not show more respect to you. You were volunteering to take photographs to preserve more information to a family memorial for us. We are located in central Florida and it's members like you who make this work for all of us. Please accept our apology and appreciation for all your efforts. You are indeed an asset to Find-A-Grave.
Thanks again for trying,
The photo request has been removed.
